  9. Be thankful for your team, us Minnesota folks are really in a mess! Mom went to a Tigers game once when she lived in Detroit, almost got kicked out since the people she was with had flasks and got caught...a memorable experience. Actually, she almost got arrested in downtown Detroit too for jumping a turnstyle that was broken...they said she didn't pay but after watching the video it was cleared up. She has fond memories of her time in Detroit ;)

    1. Emma I got such a kick out of your comment, thanks for sharing! Instead of worrying about you "jumping a turnstile" they should be worried about all of the gun-carrying crime in downtown Detroit. Their priorities sure are messed up!

  11. I guess we should say Concats to your team! We're not really into sports at my house (and especially not the humans!!) so we don't understand much ;-)
But as long as you seem happy about this team, we say yeah!

  13. Calm down and take a deep breath. They still have to win 4 more games against a tough Boston team and then 4 more vs. the NL. As Pop would say when someone styles after hitting a homer, act like you've been there before. HAH! Yankees fans don't celebrate until the final out of the WS. Now go out and beat those Sox.

  18. Even though I live in England, I have a total understanding of how baseball works. Nice to see Detroit doing so well, yet again. You should really be huge fans of the Canadian Football League. Especially the team, the Hamilton Tiger Cats.

    1. Gary I find that to be INCREDIBLY IMPRESSIVE! You are rare indeed!!! Thanks so much for your kind words about Detroit. There aren't many who have ANYTHING nice to say about Detroit or our teams! I might just have to check out those Hamilton Tiger Cats! Is it Bon Jovi that owns a team in the Canadian League?

    2. I believe Joh Bon Jovi has a football team in the Arena Football League.
