Important News from the National Kitten Coalition!

Hi! It’s Jenny! My mom, Nancy Peterson, is a board member of the National Kitten Coalition. She wants you to know that the NKC is running a weekly 5-part article series on Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) beginning March 22. There will be Tuesday Tips on the NKC's social media channels, and the full articles and Tuesday Tips will be on the NKC’s website at https://kittencoalition.org/blog/. The information is for fosters, pet parents, animal shelters, rescue groups, the veterinary community and everyone who cares about cats. Be sure to check it out!

Wasn’t I the cutest kitten, and aren’t I still cute?

Memories on Monday: Honoring #NationalPiDay with our very own Albert Einstein

Portions of this post appeared on the blog featuring our Angel Cody, it is too much fun NOT to share again. Enjoy!

 Today is National PI Day

FROM NATIONAL DAY CALENDAR:The 3rd month and the 14th day of the year is a consistent day to celebrate the mathematical constant π. Also known as pi, the first three and most recognized digits are 3.14.  National Pi Day is celebrated by pi enthusiasts and pie lovers alike!

Today happens to also be Albert Einstein's Birthday

FROM BIOGRAPHY.COM: One of science's greatest minds of all time, Albert Einstein, was born on March 14, 1879, at his family's home in Ulm, Germany. He shares his birthday with Pi Day, a celebration of this special never-ending number. Einstein's life in science started early, with him writing his first scientific paper when he was only a teenager. In 1905, Einstein published several influential works, tackling such topics as relativity and introducing his most famous equation on mass and energy  E=mc2. And, in 1921, he earned the Nobel Prize in physics.

DID YOU KNOW I LIVE WITH ALBERT EINSTEIN?

SEE WHAT I MEAN????

There are no words......

I have no words. No words that adequately convey the depth of pain that is felt when a beloved pet passes unexpectedly. Losing a pet at any time is heartbreaking and painful, but the loss of a pet suddenly, completely out-of-the-blue is one of the worst pains imaginable. Believe me, I know, and I know that sadly, many of you have experienced the sudden loss of a pet as well.

Our hearts go out to Terry (Brian's Home) and his wife, Celesta at the sudden and tragic loss of their beautiful Dolly. She was one of the prettiest kitties I have ever seen.

I know most of you have offered words of condolence and comfort to our cherished friends at Brian's Home, but for those of you who haven't, you can do so where I highlighted the name of their blog.

R.I.P. beautiful Dolly, you will be forever missed and loved.

xoxo

No sooner did I write this post about Dolly, I went into my email and learned about the passing of handsome Winston from the blog, Stillness at Cherith. I always enjoyed looking at his handsome countenance and reading about his antics. He was one exquisitely handsome mancat with the most amazing blue eyes. You can leave words of comfort for his sweet Mama, Maggie at the Stillness of Cherith blog where I have the blog name highlighted.

R.I.P. Winston you handsome mancat

We will love you and miss you furever

xoxo

It's Dr.Seuss's Birthday and #ReadAcrossAmericaDay (Go Grab a Book and Start Reading!!)

Ok so this is our post from 2021, cut me some slack! I'm lucky I remembered!!

Thank you Ann from Zoolatry
for our darling graphic!!

Today is the day we honor Dr.Seuss, my all-time favorite children's book author!! I memorized "The Cat in The Hat" when I was four years old and never looked back! I read every one of his books that I could get my paws on.

In honor of this year's theme of "looking back" to when we started posting about Dr.Seuss Day (for most of us), many of you will remember portions of this post (because it just wouldn't be the same to NOT share Cody who ALWAYS featured Dr.Seuss on his blog), but this year, we have tweaked it a bit and you will see some new "things." Enjoy!!

Today is the day,
it's truer than true,
today is the day
we tell Dr.Seuss
"WE LOVE YOU!"
We GRATEFULLY
THANK GLOGIRLY DESIGN
