Winners! #Purina Presents the “Purr-fect Times of our Lives” Photo Contest! on Cat Chat!

Hi my furiends! This is Cody and today I present to you the WINNERS of the Purina Presents the  “Purr-fect Times of our Lives” Photo Contest!

This was a tough one I gotta admit.  Mom enlisted the help of Dad and I when selecting the winners. There was much hissing, biting, scratching and clawing, because there were a few that we disagreed with Dad on. What we ended up deciding to do, was to pick the winners based on how closely they conveyed how they incorporate their cats into the special times of their lives.
When picking the winners we all agreed upon choosing the photos that showed the most AUTHENTIC cat behavior, not photos like my Mom makes where she just takes photos and puts in some holiday graphics. We thought that this would be the fairest way to go. We wish everyone could have been a winner but unfortunately we were limited to selecting just FIVE.

Oh! Hi everyone, it's Cody and ya  caught me mid trill! I am so happy that you stopped by today! I told ya that December was gonna be a purrfectly FUN month!  All sorts of things for you to win! You thought I was pullin' your furry little legs now didn't ya? Well! I wasn't!

Yesterday I asked you about your holiday traditions and so many of you have shared! Mom and I are lovin' reading about everything that all of you kitties hold dear during the holiday season.

ABC Award-- It's All About BlogPaws!

A few months ago Mom and I were honored to receive a special award.  The award we received was:

which stands for "Awesome Blog Content".  We are flattered to know that at least we have TWO kitties who like what we do! YEP TWO kitties gave us this award and we are most grateful!

The first kitty who gave it to us was Nerissa, from Nerissa's Life. (Do you know that for the LONGEST time we thought that Nerissa was a GIRL!? Nerissa is a BOY!) We're kinda slow, you'll have to forgive us. Look at this picture and you tell us if this cat isn't so pretty that you would think it was a GIRL!

As if that weren't enough of an honor, we were given  the SAME award from Pumpkin Puddy!! We were completely blown away! Thank you Pumpkin! Take a look at this cutie!!

D-Doggies!! Yep there will be DOGGIES at BlogPaws 2012! Some of you may not care for that but since Mom and I live  with a doggy,  we think that is one of the best parts of the conference!  You really see that BlogPaws is ALL ABOUT THE PETS when you see the doggies that are in attendance:

The Fancy Feast brand invites consumers to join its online community of devoted cat lovers for an opportunity to receive a special first taste of the new Elegant Medleys entrée, Yellowfin Tuna & Shrimp Recipe With Wild Rice in Gravy, months before it arrives on store shelves nationwide. The new variety of Fancy Feast^® Elegant Medleys^™ was influenced by the special relationship contest winner Joan Spector shares with her cats – Ginger and Wasabi – and their love of seafood.

Consumers and guest judge Carla Hall – co-host of ABC’s “The Chew,” a finalist on Bravo’s “Top Chef” and proud owner of an adopted cat, Alchemy, voted to select the grand prize winning entry. After her entry titled “Purrrfect Sushi” was named winner of the TasteMakers Contest in August 2011, Spector received $10,000 and a one-year supply of Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys Gourmet Cat Food.  

Along with her recipe, Spector submitted a photo and story about the special relationship she shares with her cats, and how her recipe was inspired by her cats’ personalities and love for fish. According to Spector, creating her winning recipe was a lot of fun. "My cats – Ginger and Wasabi – go crazy for tuna and shrimp so I used that as inspiration to create the perfect recipe,” she said. “I'm really excited for cats across the country to have a chance to taste the latest Elegant Medleys variety for themselves, and I hope they enjoy it as much as I believe my cats will."

To enter to receive a free sample, consumers must visit www.Facebook.com/FancyFeast on March 13 after 12:00 PM Eastern Time and select the “Exclusives” tab.
