Wordless Wednesday-Toilet Time: Too Much Togetherness!

  1. I agree - I really hate when my human uses the porcelain litter box when I am already in the bathroom. It's rude - she should wait until I am done.

  10. Question from Mom Kim:

Is that the litter box "cover" that looks like a piece of furniture, a stand?

I'm wondering if something like that would be useful for the litter box I'm now keeping in my small living/dining area. I used to have boxes only upstairs and in the basement, but since Derry's cystitis, have had a box on the main level too. They're used to it now, but I don't like that it's an open box, with the litter going everywhere.

I had read some reviews of this furniture cover (comes in white and either black or espresso brown, I think?) and most were so-so, indicating that litter still went everywhere, and generally not happy with the product. So I didn't want to invest money I technically don't have in something I wouldn't be happy with.

So I wondered what your take on it is, if it will cover a giant sized box or if the box has to be smaller, etc. Thanks.

  11. I admit mommy gives ME privacy when I am in my bathroom. But I, on the other hand am right there with her. NO such thing as privacy for her. he he

  12. No point in being modest - my kitties love bathroom time to nap on my lap... why? Who the heck knows!

  13. This is cool and our privacy is taken care of. I think I should ask my humans to get me an indoor powder room now!

@Julie, "Poor Cody?" What about "Poor ME????!!!!" lol :) thank you!

@GJ lmao! yes it IS!!! xoxoxo

    @ CATachresis lol!

@Marg with all of your kitties I KNOW you understand! I am loving the comments too! lol xoxo

@Eva you have a WHOLE WORLD outside to go in! lol. You don't need your own powder room, but it IS a good idea! xoxo

@Deb lol!!! Bobo ALWAYS sat on my lap when I was in the bathroom and Cody occasionally does that. Last night I was laughing because when i went in, who came strolling in immediately after me...he joins me there but this was the FIRST time he ever used the facilities at the same time as Mama lol

@Admiral Hestorb that is the same with us. I never join Cody in the bathroom when he was going, he could care less! lol

  20. I'm curious about your mat. Does it help contain the litter tracking? I've tried everything and our gang is so messy.

  21. Is nothing sacred? Seriously, Kizzie says she'd love one like this, so perhaps we'll put it on her Santa list.

  22. No privacy, huh sweet Cody. You sure do have a nice potty box. Hugs and nose kisses

  23. @Layla, I feel your pain! The mat contains it to a point...I still have the same problem but it isn't as bad as it used to be. Cody is a "litter kicker" and that is what the majority of the problem is. It isn't the tracking as much as it is his kicking. I have to keep the litter in the box more shallow than I would like. I am trying to remember where I purchased the mat on the top, I think it might have been PetSmart or Target. Hope that helps! xoxo

@chancy thank you! Mom got me that for my birthday in April! Hugs and nose kisses back!

    @Jewel Mom loves it!

@Pup Fan you got that right :)

  27. Ooooh, how embarrassing, Cody. Good thing your box has a hood on it. Does your Mom always take a camera into the baffroom with her?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Now, that's a very interesting place for a litter box!

  29. @CRichman that was HILARIOUS!! OMG too funny!

  32. Honestly! Humans and their litter-box fixation. Sheesh! They're just clickety-clickety-clickety every darn minute with no respect AT ALL for our private business.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Cool shot! Mes always waits until Mommy goes into the little wrm room, closes the door, turns on the ceiling water, then me goes into my box and makes sure me does smellies!
    Kisses
