Ok, so that was kind of mean of me to use Cody in photos for today, which is "Pig In A Blanket Day."
FROM DAYS OF THE YEAR: Pigs In A Blanket are a simple concept and have been found
throughout the world in many variations since time out of mind. You simply take
a sausage and wrap it! Usually, you’ll find them wrapped in some form of
pastry, with puff pastry being one of the most universally popular. Learn more about "Pig In A Blanket Day" here!
Relax Cody! You know I REALLY featured you on this day, not because of your ample "belleh", but because of your complete DELICIOUSNESS!
I think the idea of using you today was CUTE! Not insulting. At least that is how I took it.
ReplyDeleteOh noooooo!!! I was counting on you to be the voice of reason!!! Don't support my Mom!!!! Love, Cody
DeleteCody, you and I are sleep-mates. I' m always on my back snuggled down in something soft, and you are one cut kitty!@
ReplyDeletewouldn't it be fun if we could nap together??
DeleteWe thought you were both looking very cute today.
ReplyDeleteYou are way more cute in that blanket than a pig Cody :)
ReplyDeletePurrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
Even though we think pigs are adorable, you are 100 times more adorable Cody and being wrapped up in a blankie like a "pig in a blanket" isn't such a bad thing right?
ReplyDeleteLove, Teddy
You're certainly no pig, Cody. But they're cute too :)
ReplyDeleteNo pigs in blanket for Mum though. She won't eat meat.

Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteYou make a cute piggie in a blanket, Cody! Don't worry--no one would ever mistake you for a real sausage 'cause you're too furry :)
ReplyDeleteCody, you look adorable in those pics, and we can see why that cuteness had your mom choosing the pictures. But even so...! You're definitely not a pig-in-a-blanket! Now if we had a pic of Derry wrapped up in a blanket, that might be different. :-D
ReplyDeleteHey Cody-You are cute and snuggly. Our Mom does stuff like that to us, too. Perhaps you could guilt her into some extra treats, toys or cuddles?!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Winston and Emily
You sure look comfy Cody! Our pig's blankets are made with cabbage!
ReplyDeletenow that must be a version that I don't know about!
DeleteYou mom just uses you as a prop, Cody. Not to worry. She loves you to pieces.

Cody, you're so cute! We didn't know there was a pig in a blanket day. Mommy said they used to serve those in school way back in the dark ages when she was there.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Well, my Mom most probably is MUCH older than your Mom....she not only remembers them from then, but she STILL loves them, she just hasn't eaten them in ages (thankfully) Love, Cody
DeleteYou look so cute, Cody, who could mistake you with a sausage ? Purrs
ReplyDelete*tapping Mom on the arm* Mom, dearest Mom, can we be Pigs in a Blanket today, too... if that means we get sausage in our bellies?

DeleteHow rude of your mom! You don't look like a little piggy to me. The pigs in blankets that we have are little sausages wrapped in bacon.

ReplyDeleteShe remembers those too...her family called them saucijzenbroodjes(sausage-breads), and oooh they were so hearty and yummy! Nope haven't had them in eons...though here we used to wrap the hotdogs in crescent rolls, MOL! Then *we* turned into the pigs:)
Cody, come on over and we will go over ways to make her pay for that remark! I have the tunnel pointed in your direction to save you time. Ready when you are. xxx
