Wordless Wednesday-Happy Chanukah!

  1. Thanks for sharing the video! I love Peter, Paul and Mary and I love this song. Oh I love their Lemon Tree the best!

Guess what, I've been playing this video from just now and it's the 8th time now. I've a vague memory of Chanukah as it's Festival of Lights and is an eight-day Jewish event. So I got to make it to 8th!

Sorry, I don't know much about the history of Chanukah but I'll google it later.

Happy Chanukah, Caren, Lenny, Cody and Dakota!!!

  3. Priscilla you are welcome! Thank YOU!! Ohhhh myyyyy Lenny absolutely ADORES Peter, Paul & Mary (I do too but he was born during that era...I am a "little" younger! lol) One of my favorites is "Puff The Magic Dragon"...I just love that song!
Yes Chanukah is "The Festival Of Lights" and a celebration of how a very, very tiny bit of oil lasted for 8 days (a miracle) when it should have barely lasted at all (that is a HUGELY abbreviated definition of the holiday lol!)
I am sooo happy you enjoyed the video!! Thanks for your Chanukah wishes! xoxo

HAPPY CHANUKAH!!!! Hey...don't trip the Menorah, OK? Lighted candles = fire. Aunty Caren, best wishes for the holy day. MMMWWAAHHHH!!!! purrr...meow!

  24. @Cat-in-Sydney thank you!!!! Nope, no worries about tripping the Menorah. Mom put it on the kitchen table in an aluminum pan and she stood by it the entire time....(pretending she is a Fire Chief or something lol).....my brother and I didn't care cause she gave us food to distract us. Actually my brother isn't allowed in the kitchen anyway...just me....I was busy getting kibble out of my treat ball :)
My Mom recycled the ball from the cupboard and tried to pass it off as a new Chanukah toy...geeze......well...she DID get me at least 3 new toys a week or so ago....she said she is still gonna get me something else....we will see...Love, Cody
