  5. @Brian, I agree! I learned A LOT that I never knew about black cats. I sooo wish I were allowed to have more pets here (we are only allowed 2) I would get a black cat with green eyes! :)

  7. I've heard about this form of prejudice (which is really what adherence to such a superstition boils down to) before, from several black-cat friends... but that doesn't mean I don't continue to be shocked and saddened by it. Personal preference for certain fur colors is one thing, but to not even be willing to consider adopting or purchasing a cat *because you think his/her fur is 'bad luck'*?? We might as well be living back in the Middle Ages, with that kind of attitude... :(

  8. I LOVE black cats! My uncle's black cat was twenty years old when he died and had the sweetest nature. The only reason I'm glad mine has some white on him is I can see him in the dark :>)

  13. Love this video! Love ALL cats of all colors, genders, ages, kinds, and species -- and the black cat has always had a very special place in my heart and home. Currently, it's Calo "The Gipsy King" who's our resident House Panther, very strong, protective, and affectionate, not to mention HANDSOME!
