Meet Writer, Healer, Spiritual Life Coach, Astrologer and Tarot Reader:Julianne Victoria

Since as far back as my High School days, I have been a fan of Astrology. Why? My Mother had my chart done when I was around 17 in an attempt to find out why I was so "impractical."The reason? All of my planets are Air, Fire and Water, not one planet resides in an Earth sign, but I digress. I became interested in Astrology, Tarot etc., not necessarily for "daily" predictions, but to learn about personality traits of my sign and to get general predictions, such as monthly predictions.

Back in June I had the pleasure of winning a Tarot reading from Julianne Victoria, who is a writer, healer, a spiritual life coach, astrologer and tarot reader who resides in San Francisco, CA.  Her mission is that she "hopes to help heal, teach, and inspire others on their journeys and in this life."

I have been following Julianne  on all of her blogs for a few years now, but my favorite remains, Through The Peacock's Eyes.


I am not going to post the reading that I won that was sent to me as a video, but suffice it to say it was FABULOUS and SPOT ON, and gave me the encouragement and the impetus I needed for something I hope to be doing mid to late 2016 that is NOT blogging related! (gasp!!!)

Cat Horoscopes December 2014

Your behavior for the winter is predictable - you’ll be turning up the furnaces, digging up the heavy coats from the basement, and celebrating the holidays with family or friends. However, the behavior of your cat is not so easily predictable. That’s why Hollywood Psychics is here - to give the insight into the future of your furry friend that only they can know. So, get out your most comfortable blanket, snuggle up to your cat, get warm, and let’s see what December holds in store for them!

Aries:

Hopefully your Aries cat experienced a more open and accepting attitude during November, as predicted in last month’s cat horoscopes. In December, the celestial bodies have decided to bring a new energy, letting the Aries cat revel in its need for adventure and playfulness. It’s advised you buy them a new toy to play with to release this energy. (Cats deserve holiday presents too!). From Cat Chat With Caren and Cody:Well, Cody will be happy for sure!! Maybe his lazy Mom will play with him once in a while!

Taurus:

Due to the intruding presence of Mars, you may want to keep your Taurus cat isolated from other cats this month, as their territorial instincts will increase. If you have several cats, keep an eye on their dynamic to make sure things don’t get out of hand.

Gemini:

Mercury will be moving surreptitiously through Gemini in December, which means the Gemini cat’s wits will be operating at full capacity. If you see your pet jumping up on you and purring, or being extra clean in their litter box, beware! As soon as you feed your cat, or give them the attention they so crave, they may simply retreat to their hiding place, satisfied that they have acquired what they wanted all along.

Cancer:

We know Cancers for their self-protectiveness. This barrier will be fully dissolved in December for the Cancer cat. Their transference of family feelings (predicted in November’s horoscope), should be complete by the end of this month. Any lasting feelings of uncertainty they may have had in their relationship with their owners will now fully dissolve.

Leo:

The Leo cat will be going through a quiet period in December due to the standstill in the confrontation between Saturn and Jupiter. If you see your cat sitting stoically in the corner, not blinking, or alone in a nest of blankets with wide eyes, don’t be alarmed. They are simply going through a period of reflection and pensiveness. (Don’t we do this as humans, too?) However, come January, the Leo cat will be enlivened and active again.

Virgo:

The Sun will be passing through Virgo this month, which means the Virgo cat, usually difficult to please, will be expressing feelings of friendliness and warmth in December. He or she will become less aloof and reserved. When your cat suddenly begins to sit more on your lap or cuddle up to you, it marks the beginning of a more affectionate side of their relationship with their owner.

Libra:

Libras will continue a pattern of comfort seeking in December. If your furnaces and heaters turned up to prepare for the cold weather, expect to find the Libra cat getting cozy near sources of heat throughout the house. Note: you may want to set up blankets or nests, as well as their feeding bowls, near these locations for their convenience.

Scorpio:

Unfortunately for the Scorpio kitty, Uranus and Mars will be in confrontation this month. This will result in irritability, especially towards unclean environments. Make sure their litter boxes are cleaned regularly, and their resting areas kept tidy. Be careful, the Scorpio kitty is on edge - an aberration from a cleaning schedule may cause them to become annoyed, and resort to clawing at furniture.

Sagittarius:

Throughout December, Sagittarius cat owners may find themselves wondering where their pets have disappeared to. Don’t fret! The natural curiosity of the Sagittarius will be manifesting in a game of hide-and-seek this month. They’ll be exploring the lesser-known nooks and crannies of your house, and they expect you to come find them.

Capricorn:

The Capricorn kitty will be receiving positive vibrations from the activity of the planets this month. They’ll be exhibiting a “feel-good” attitude, which will help them be calm and enjoyable to be around. The daily routine for the Capricorn kitty this month should allow ample time for lounging, sleeping on your lap and eating their fill of scraps from the holiday meals.

Aquarius:

Have you been trying to change an undesirable behavior of your Aquarius cat lately - discouraging them from scratching furniture or making a mess of certain parts of the house? Don’t expect December to be any easier. Pluto is in direct confrontation with Venus this month, which means the Aquarius’ sense of stubbornness will be unrelenting. Cat Horoscopes November 2014

The planets are in a state of excitement this month. That means good news for some signs, and not-so-good news for others. Once again, we were able to get our friends over at Hollywood Psychics to offers the insights of well-regarded pet psychics, helping decipher the planets and their mystical movements during the month of November.

Aries:

Characteristic of Aries, your cat may have been somewhat headstrong in the past, and perhaps resistant to forming a connection with its owner or other animals. November will be a month of change for the Aries cat. Due to a new and more ordered alignment of Venus (which represents love), your cat will begin to become less reserved and let down its defenses. Let your cat feel comfortable in exploring its ability to trust, and you’ll develop a new feline friend.

Taurus:

Due to the slightly off-kilter positioning of Saturn, outside forces will interfere with the Taurus cat’s usual sense of security during November. Your cat will undergo a transition - most likely experiencing a different element in its environment, such as a change in place or a new person - and will need your support in order to overcome this irregularity in its routine.

Gemini:

Gemini cat owners beware: the energy and vivaciousness you’ve seen so strongly in your cat is beginning to wane due to Uranus being in retrograde during November. Cancer:

In November, Cancer cats will most likely be transferring feelings of family to their owners. As is common with the Cancer personality, “opening up” is gradual. Providing your cat with ample attention and care will facilitate this transference.

Leo:

Your Leo cat’s need for attention and admiration will increase in November due to the intruding presence of the Sun. Inviting guests over to play with your cat will give them the chance they need to show off. If you have a younger cat, they may perform feats such as jumping across cabinets in order to impress others.

Virgo:

You might find your Virgo cat a little uncomfortable in November. Normally, they like to make sure their environment is secure and ordered, but there is a high likelihood an event will upset their sense of control. Does your cat have special places in which it likes to feel comfortable? Make sure they remain clean and organized in preparation for this.

Libra:

In no other month this year will the laziness of the Libra cat become more evident than in November. You may be concerned when you find your cat sleeping for hours at a time, or eating more than usual, but don’t fret. Remember last month’s horoscope describing how much energy Libras had? Well now your cat is easing down from all the activity and gaining some rest.

Scorpio:

The Scorpio kitty’s energetic state will take the form of mischief in November. Pluto will be positioned in such a way that will heighten your cat’s sense of playfulness. Don’t be surprised if you see him or her jumping up on your lap during dinner to snatch some food, or popping up suddenly in the cupboard.

Sagittarius:

Sagittarius cats will be following their love of adventure during the course of November, and even reveling in their predatory skills. If you have a mouse or insect problem in your house, you might notice it disappear fairly soon. In addition, if your cat is domesticated, be stringent about closing doors. Your cat will be waiting for the chance to slip out and take its hunting skills to the streets!

Capricorn:

Capricorn kitties will become impatient this month. If you’ve found them trying to appeal for food or petting recently, expect to see their approach become more direct -- and even annoying. Their attitude will become one of incessant demand and perseverance until they get what they want.

Aquarius:

Venus will be moving into a favorable position for Aquarian cats this month, as they continue to become closer with their owners and break down barriers that have previously created emotional distance.

Pisces:

Pisces cats will be particularly sensitive to their owner’s feelings this month. If you experience a bad day at work, or are feeling some early woes of the coming winter, your Pisces cat will pick up on this, hop up on your lap, and be there to comfort you (and it expects the same!)!

As you can see, there are a wide variety of behaviors predicted for cats in November. However, be prepared, the planetary movements of December may cause entirely new changes from what you’ve seen. Cat Horoscopes September 2014

Fall is in the air as September circles back around. With the change of seasons come some changes for your four-legged companions. Our friends at Hollywood Psychics have given us the inside scoop on what September will bring for your feline friends. Aries:

Aries cats are ambitious and goal driven. If they want to play with the plant on top of the highest shelf, they will make it their mission to do so -- no matter what stands in their way. Aries kitties may have been sitting around the house in a rut all summer, but now they’re full of energy and eager to change things up a bit. (Cody started this in August!! Too funny!! The Gemini cat will decide that September is the time to start taking risks. Their renewed sense of energy ushered in by the change in the weather allows them to adapt to all sorts of situations so you can always count on them to land on their paws.

Expect your Scorpio cat to be a restless, nocturnal creature during the first part of this month, wandering around your dwelling at all hours of the night.

Sagittarius:

Usually optimistic and friendly, Sagittarius cats may run into a rough patch this month. Your kitty may not seem like she wants to play very much. Pisces:

Unlike their Scorpio counterparts, the new moon on the 25^th will bring an abundance of cosmic paws-itivity. Your kitty will be walking with her tail held high in confidence this month as she feels the love the planets are sending her way. You may find her to be extra bold and courageous this month, so it’s a good time to finally introduce that new food or self-cleaning litter box you’ve wanted to try.

Cat Horoscopes July 2014

It’s the heart of the summer, the sun is out, and passion is in the air. July is usually a very charged month for not only humans but our cat companions as well. Find out what the pet psychics at Hollywood Psychics see in the stars and what they have in store for your ball of fur this sunny month!

Aries:

After an eight month visit, Mars will be leavings Aries near the end of July. The already headstrong Aries cat has been even more charged with its presence, however at the cat-tail end of the month you can breathe easy again and no longer walk on eggshells. The high energy of Mars will keep Aries cats active; just make sure they don’t hurt themselves!

Taurus:

For most of the month you can expect that Taurus cats – often slothful and stuck in their ways (much like their human counterparts) – will be slightly more demanding. Surprise them with their favorite treat and give an extra helping of cat food every so often and the relationship should go smoothly.

Gemini:

You can expect to see Mr. Hyde this month; dual-natured Gemini cats will be prone to more positivity and pleasantness through the influence of Venus. Rest assured that these vocal cats are meowing from a good place this month!

Cancer:

Cancer cats will begin to resume their homebody tendencies throughout the month due to Jupiter’s departure from the sign. Near the middle of the month, Venus will also sway these cats to be more harmonious, cooperative, and affectionate. Their return to a more customary state of mind will also lower these cats’ stress.

Leo:

A progressive month is in store for these lions – as well as for the year following. Near the middle of the month, Jupiter will enter Leo; this will cause more energy (yes, MORE energy), optimism, and them having the astrological odds in their favor. They will instinctively get their way more often, however they will rarely do so from a bad place because Jupiter’s influence is a good one. This rush of energy in the latter half of July may make these feisty felines more prone to accidents, so keep a constant vigilance!

Virgo:

The ruler of Virgo – Mercury – will be in close proximity to Venus throughout July. This will cause the normally practical and more stoic Virgo cat to loosen up; they will demand more love and affection from their human companions. You can anticipate more cuddle time with your cat this month. This positive rush of emotion will also calm Virgo cats and lead to less stress-related health issues.

Libra:

Libra cats will be having a tumultuous July. The influence of Venus will make love a big theme; relationships with human companions and other household pets will be in the spotlight. However, it doesn’t necessarily have to be a good spotlight. The best advice for Libra cat owners in July is to pick your battles, show lots of love and affection, and be patient with these finicky felines; this way you can be more certain that the spotlight will be a positive one!

Scorpio:

Scorpio cats are generally very good at knowing what is on their humans’ minds and are aware of their surroundings. In July, the position of Venus will cause these cats to suddenly need to understand any of those open-ended mysteries about their humans or homes and they will need be investigated. Your normally loyal companion will still be by your side, however expect them to be a bit more curious about some of your actions.

Sagittarius:

July will be a split month for Sagittarius kitties. For the first half, Venus will cause them to be more loving, affectionate, and appreciative of their relationships. Mercury will also be influencing this sign in July. For humans, this cosmic shift will stimulate communication; for cats this will manifest in them to trying to get your attention in other ways such a broad range of meows or possibly being a bit mischievous. The second half of the month, as the planets shift, will lead Sagittarius cats to a calmer and more subtle energy. Be patient and receptive during the beginning of July and the second half will be positive-peaceful.

Capricorn:

Capricorn cats will loosen up their proper and wise demeanor in July. The Sun will make the necessity of close relationships take shape, and with a good human (or animal) companion, these cats will be at peace this month. Also, the positioning of Venus will provide positive influence to Capricorn cats’ relationships, leading to stronger companionships.

Aquarius:

Venus’ presence in Aquarius during July will take these already emotional cats’ personalities to the next level. They will be breaming with love, affection, and sentiment. Normally slightly rebellious, these sometimes crazy cats will take it down a notch and simply enjoy a nap on your lap or following you around while you tend to the house.

Pisces:

The combination of Jupiter and the Sun being present in Pisces will emotionally propel these cats; the ocean of emotion and feelings behind these cats’ eyes will surface and lead to a visibly more energetic and charged cat. As Pluto and Venus join forces this month, your Cancer cat may be seen rallying the household into group activities, which could mean a few surprise pounces when walking past furniture as your cat invites you to play. It’s also the perfect time for a new look, so you may catch your kitty spending extra time grooming throughout the month. A striking new collar in a different color and pattern would certainly earn owners a few extra brownie points with their Cancer kitties.

Leo:

Leo cats will need to remember to pull from their endless pool of optimism since Mars and Pluto will be stirring up some potential conflicts this month. Keep a close eye on your feline’s health and encourage them to get plenty of rest as the summer is shaping up to be a busy one! Though the Virgo cat is known for her fussiness and difficulty to please, owners can rejoice that a loving nod from Venus will make these kitties far less temperamental this month. Libra:

Capricorn:

It may feel as though you and your Capricorn cat haven’t been seeing eye-to-eye lately, but progress abounds this month! Whether it’s your irritation over her continually jumping on the counter or her resentment of you constantly shooing her when she wants to drink from the kitchen faucet, you’ll both be ready to put your differences aside for a fresh start.    

Aquarius:
With Mercury in retrograde most of the month, Aquarius cats will find it the purr-fect time for reflection. Always the innovator, expect your feline companion to spend this time curled up on the couch contemplating their next big idea, such as how to finally open the cabinet door where you keep all those tasty treats.

Pisces:
While May brought more stability to the Pisces cat’s mood, June will be a different story. Be on the lookout for high emotions, though most will be positive. Expect more interactive play and affection from your Pisces cat this month. Enjoy what you can now, for the tides may change come July.
