Catatonic Monday

Day after day we are being greeted by frigid temps, gray skies and snow up to our knees. We have become prisoners inside of our own homes. Winter is definitely taking it's toll on many of us. Even for Cody.

Finding the renegade sunbeam on his cat tower and snoozing the hours away on a cozy comforter transcend chasing furry mice and laser lights. There is plenty of time for play when the weather warms......later....much later.......after another nap.......

  1. Cody, I wish you could come visit us in California! We western states are about the only ones that haven't been in a deep freeze all winter!

  2. We feel for you with the awful weather you are having. Nothing is worse than being cooped up and getting cabin fever. It is so mild here but the rain just does not let up. Have a marvellous Monday.
    Best wishes Molly

  5. Good for you trying to look on the bright side Cody! A sunpuddle and a snooze is the best it can get sometimes in the long winter months....sigh.....we have RAIN RAIN RAIN today - with a bit of snow coming later. No sign of a sun puddle though.....

  6. What a lovely photo! It is amazing how even indoor cats seem to have enough of this winter. My girls follow the sun puddles, but on cloudy days, they definitely seem less content. We had a reprieve from the cold yesterday with temps making it all the way up to 60 (don't get too excited for us, it's going to snow today!), and they loved having the windows open!

    1. @Ingrid THANK YOU!!! OMG 60???!!!! I was excited til I heard you are getting snow too. I am so sorry :( Another storm is coming here late tomorrow into Wednesday......I don't think we will be having our windows open for quite some time!
