For the longest time Mom and I have been lusting after the KatKabin®  and the SkratchKabin™  's that we would see on a number of our furiends blogs. Mom knew that I would love one, so as luck stalking would have it, Mom connected with KatKabin® on Instagram and they offered me the chance to review either the traditional KatKabin® or the NEW SkratchKabin™!!!

Mom and I chose the NEW SkratchKabin™ because it is intended for use indoors. I also was given my choice of colors and Mom and I chose the

The day my SkratchKabin™ arrived I knew the second I saw the box that something special was inside! I was beside myself with excitement! Mom could not take it out of the box fast enough! Mom was shocked because unlike most items that arrive for me that takes me days, even weeks to check out, that was NOT the case with my SkratchKabin™ !! I IMMEDIATELY went inside and started investigating! It must have had some kind of a smell that I liked because I just couldn't get enough of it! The SkratchKabin™ that I received is  a lovely dark brown. (There are color variations in my photos due to lighting changes in the room and photo editing). It is  designed to blend in with any interior. Our living room is primarily earth tones (browns, olive green, tan, etc.) so it fits in purrfectly! It is a great size too! The overall dimensions are : L 20 " (51cm)  x W 16" (40.5cm)  x H 13" (32cm) and it fits quite nicely right next to one of our couches and is completely unobtrusive. Can you see my nose and whiskers peeking out? The SkratchKabin™  is a  warm and cozy place for me to sleep. I can scratch it if I want to, the curved, textured scratching surface is wonderful for my manly claws! I don't normally scratch our furniture, but for kitties who are inclined to do that, this is the purrfect alternative to ripping to shreds one of your humans' favorite chairs or couches! The SkratchKabin™ is available in 3 gorgeous colors and comes complete with a machine washable KatKushion, (that is the green pad you see me sitting on in the photos), it is super comfy. It also comes with  a FREE toy hanger and a FREE sisal mouse!! (I did not hang my sisal mouse because Dakota hangs out in the living room with me and Mom was afraid he might try and eat the mousie. Also, I didn't need to use the mouse as encouragement to use the SkratchKabin™ because I liked it on my own!) But it IS cute and I can play with it in another room. I LOVE my SkratchKabin™ even MORE than Mom thought I would! There is NOTHING that I would change about it and I give it a resounding FOUR PAWS UP!! I love to hang out here and just watch my Sheltie brother doing the crazy things that he does. It also offers me a great haven to escape to so that I can get away from his maddening barking!!! Speaking of Dakota, has anyone seen him? He doesn't seem to be over there, or over here.............

To the #CatCave Cody!!

It's not every day that I receive an email from companies located  in Lithuania or the UK,  so when I first received an email from Kivikis.com asking if I wanted to have Cody try their Cat Cave, to say I was leery was an understatement. After a few emails back and forth to check their validity, I agreed, and  I am THRILLED that I did. From the moment the Cat Cave arrived it became an immediate favorite of Cody's.

Before I tell you about the Cat Cave, let me say that there are similar products on the market, (one of them, The Cat Ball,   I reviewed back in January of 2012, which in it's genre is the ORIGINAL), you can read  that review here.

The Cat Cave isn't passing itself off as the above mentioned  product. The glaring difference is the other product is open on BOTH ends and is shaped differently.The Cat Cave has only one opening and to me, resembles a giant, comfy EGG. Another difference is the Cat Cave is made of a super comfy, non-scratchy 100% ORGANIC FELTED WOOL.

Because wool  has a "natural, self-cleaning aspect", it is only necessary to occasionally wipe the Cat Cave to clean it. But if you want to clean it, here is a charming video that shows you how.

The Cat Caves vary in shape because they are made by hand so each one will be a little bit different.

My only complaint when the Cat Cave arrived was that it wasn't wrapped inside the box that it was placed in, my suggestion would be to at least wrap it in plastic or something instead of just placing it in a box. That being said, the TRUE TEST?

I can count on one hand the number of products that Cody has INSTANTLY taken to without my having to cajole him with treats or catnip. THIS WAS ONE OF THEM.  The day the bed arrived, Cody was suffering from one of his MANY allergy flare-ups. I put the Cat Cave in my office and walked away figuring it would take Cody WEEKS to try it out at all. I was WRONG. I returned approx a half hour later and there he was.

The Cat Cave has remained a favorite since the day it arrived. I couldn't be happier. If Cody is happy, then I AM HAPPY!

The first item I received was this super comfy bed!

This bed is super soft, the interior is made out of a cushy fleece and it has become one of my favorites! Mom could kick herself because she took photos of me IN the bed which were lost on her fried computer. You can see from the pillow indentation that I DO use this bed! The pillow is also reversible! (The opposite side has the same pattern as the side of the bed). Mom keeps a stash of my toys there so that I have furiends to sleep with as well!

Mom has always been a huge fan of Laurel Burch's items, she has a purse, pajamas and many other items that were designed by her. Mom LOVES the artistic appearance of these toys and the fact that they are safe (There are NO SMALL BELLS, which Mom HATES on cat toys, they are a CHOKING HAZARD!) and these appear to be super well made.

Mom and I were BOTH super impressed with this dangle toy! There are RIBBONS!!  It is called the Ribbon Streamer w/Feather Boa Cat Teaser! There are few cat danglers on the market with ribbon and Mom and I both thought this was pretty darned clever. They float through the breeze just BEGGING me to come closer!

Can you see how MESMERIZED I am by the ribbons and feathers? This is such a fun toy and I love to watch it gliding ever-so-smoothly in the breeze. Mom said she loved how my attention was just riveted on this toy!

When I received my Cat Ball to test and review the timing couldn't have been more purrfect. At that time I was not feeling well, that was when I was having my poop issues and I was just not myself. When the Cat Ball arrived it was the purrfect place for me to rest in! As Jennifer says "Your Cat Will Figure It Out" and I did!

I love my Cat Ball because it is comfy and cozy. Mom loves it because it is well made,   stylish and mine even came with a removable pad on the bottom that makes cleaning it a breeze!
