Eeek! It's a Mouse! It's the Mouse In A Pouch Electronic Action Cat Toy from OurPets®!

Oh my it has been a number of days since I posted on our blog, between the holiday and the heat it just wasn't top on my "to-do" list that is for sure!

Recently, I mentioned that I would be featuring a number of toys that Cody received to try and review from our friends at OurPets® I featured the first toy on May 14th and today I am happy to share with you the second toy, Mouse In A Pouch Electronic Action Cat Toy!

From the time Cody was a kitten, his favorite toys have always involved mice. Whether they are dangly, electronic, stuffed or whatever, Cody LOVES mice!!

I think the reason he loves mice so much is they bring out his natural hunter instinct. He likes to bat them, toss them, and ultimately catch them. Since he can't catch REAL mice outdoors his indoor mice are the next best thing.

OurPets® Mouse in A Pouch Electronic Action Cat Toy

Cody is a curious cat (aren't MOST cats?) and your curious cat will LOVE relentlessly pursuing this crazy electronic mouse that darts and scurries inside of the pouch or on its own, outside of the pouch. There is no telling where the mouse will go next and that is what cats LOVE!

As you can see in the video above the unpredictable mouse stimulates the cats' hunter instincts.
When Cody first saw the "mouse" he wasn't quite sure what to make of it!

"Patented RealMouse sound mimics a wild mouse"
I will tell you to me it didn't sound like a real mouse, it definitely makes a sound, but in my opinion, not a sound anything like a real mouse, (that being said, what the heck do I know? I'm not a cat, mouse-sound or not, Cody was drawn to, engaged with and LOVES this toy!!) The crazy shape attracted Cody instantly.

Play with the mouse inside or outside the pouch
(there is a handy pocket to insert the mouse)
Requires 2 AAA batteries (not included)
Provides your cat with fun and healthy play

While the Mouse in a Pouch is great fun for one cat, it would be such a blast to watch multiple cats play with it!

As you can see the Mouse in a Pouch Electronic Action Cat Toy  from OurPets® really piqued Cody's interest. I even put the mouse on our floor and let it go "wild",  that was a huge hit as well!

One of Cody's favorite games is jumping on pillows in the bedroom that I put on the floor. I dangle a toy mouse and have it dart all around the pillows. Cody loves to leap and pounce on the pillows as he tries to capture the mouse. The Mouse In A Pouch enabled him to do what he loves, pouncing and chasing mice on a surface that he can slide on, which makes it even more fun!

This is a versatile, fun and engaging toy that will bring out the natural hunter in your cat! Cody and I give it a resounding 4 paws up and your kitty(s) will too!

  1. Wheee! That looks like a ton of mousey hunting fun!
I bet it would even get Dalton's attention.

Pipo likes soft mice & Pom-poms, so maybe he would enjoy that toy the most with the mouse inside the pouch.

    1. Cody loves it either way! I even tried it with Dakota in the room, I was SHOCKED that Dakota completely ignored it. That was actually a GOOD thing because Cody can play with it in the same room as Dakota without being bugged like he usually is lol

    2. If it is soft, moves or makes noise, Dalton is right on it...so all of Pipo's toys and things like that are in the livingroom, which has always been a dog free zone, unless there are peeps in there to snoopervise.'Maybe when Dalton gets older and more mature...hah!
Of course back in the day MJF was like that too. He was a shredder pup just like Dalton. But by the time we got into social blogging etc, he was almost 8 years old and (mostly) out of that crazy pup stage.

    1. Thanks so much!! Cody DOES love it! He went over to it a few times (I keep it in the living room) when the mouse wasn't even turned on....what I loved was he was interested in it the second it came out of the box.
