 Roary and I were recently given the opportunity to try Uah Pet's Cat/Treat Food Dispensing toy. Since Roary is a rather "techie" cat (he LOVES to see how things work), I could not wait to have him try this toy out!

When you open the box you receive the toy, an instruction booklet and a charger. Charging the toy didn't take long at all, it was ready to use in no time!!!

I noticed that a few times when Roary didn't catch the bug it still would dispense treats (I think this is a GOOD thing) because it would help the cat not to become frustrated when playing with it.

When you have an indoor cat (s) it's imperative to find toys/activities to keep them from becoming bored, which can lead to all sorts of unwanted mischief! As you can see in the videos I have shared, this toy will keep your cat's attention, and if your kitty is food motivated, all the better! The toy "smart bug" moves randomly imitating the way real prey would move. The cat has to use its brain to figure out how to get that bug!!! Once its prey is captured, the toy will automatically dispense a treat!

In summary, I have had a number of treat dispensing toys through the years but this one is by far my favorite! Frankly there wasn't anything I didn't like about it and that goes for Roary too!  It kept Roary busy for quite some time, (he was MUCH more focused on the little bug than he was the treats, but that is a GOOD thing!) He soooo wanted to catch that bug (which to me, looks like a mouse, but it's darling just the same.

From Kimberly: "Manhattan lost his mind when I pulled the feather out of the drawer to put it in the tent. I almost couldn't get it in there, he was jumping up on me, so needless to say it's a hit. Manhattan and Martini are still playing with it even though I put the feather away."

Oh my it has been a number of days since I posted on our blog, between the holiday and the heat it just wasn't top on my "to-do" list that is for sure!

From the time Cody was a kitten, his favorite toys have always involved mice. Whether they are dangly, electronic, stuffed or whatever, Cody LOVES mice!!

I think the reason he loves mice so much is they bring out his natural hunter instinct. He likes to bat them, toss them, and ultimately catch them. Since he can't catch REAL mice outdoors his indoor mice are the next best thing.

Cody is a curious cat (aren't MOST cats?) and your curious cat will LOVE relentlessly pursuing this crazy electronic mouse that darts and scurries inside of the pouch or on its own, outside of the pouch. There is no telling where the mouse will go next and that is what cats LOVE!

I'm not a cat, mouse-sound or not, Cody was drawn to, engaged with and LOVES this toy!!) The crazy shape attracted Cody instantly.

One of Cody's favorite games is jumping on pillows in the bedroom that I put on the floor. I dangle a toy mouse and have it dart all around the pillows. Cody loves to leap and pounce on the pillows as he tries to capture the mouse. The Mouse In A Pouch enabled him to do what he loves, pouncing and chasing mice on a surface that he can slide on, which makes it even more fun!
