We are so deeply, deeply sorry

Many of you who read our blog know that precious Lucy from 15 and Meowing had become ill in spite of the fact that all of her vet tests in June revealed nothing having been amiss. It was evil cancer that took this precious baby.

Lucy's Mom didn't want to see her suffering any longer, and made a most brave, noble and  difficult decision. I know how hard that decision is to make, as sadly, most of you do as well.

Cody and I send Mom Ellen much love and our deepest sympathy. We are do deeply, deeply sorry.

  7. Cancer is sneaky and evil......and we were so heartbroken when the ultrasound showed it in three bad places......Lucy's Mom did the bravest thing and let Lucy go to the Bridge instead of suffering........we are sad but know it was the best thing for Lucy who is happily playing in the flowers over the Bridge and showing off her boa and hat to everyone there!

    Hugs and Love............Sammy and Mom

  9. Sue, aka Callie,Shadow, and Ducky's Mom here. My heart goes out to Lucy's Mom. My own heart is still hurting from having sent my beloved Callie to the bridge. I know that no words can be enough; but please tell Lucy's Mom that she is in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time and that I'm deeply sorry for her loss.

  22. I was deep sorry to read about precious Lucy and I feel deeply for her mommy and furblings. Yes, we all DO know what that horrible time is like although as with Admiral, it's the kindest most loving but heartbreakingly awful thing we must do.
