Some LONG OVERDUE THANK YOUS!!

Today's post is LONG overdue and I am beyond embarrassed! This past summer I was the INCREDIBLY LUCKY recipient of a number of items that I am going to FINALLY showcase in this blog post!

The first item, is this adorable purse that was made by Sammy's Aunt! (if you have been living under a rock and don't know Sammy, he is the adorable ginger kitty of the famous blog, One Spoiled Cat and you really need to go and visit him!) I was the highest bidder for this item in the auction that was held by Dachsies with Moxie!  How adorable is this purse?

It is the purrfect size for a casual outing

 or trip to the store! I love it!

Then, I entered a super cool contest that Christine Michaels had going on on her blog Riverfront Cats.  (Christine is one of the sweetest and most genuine people that I have had the pleasure of meeting. She devotes her life to "rescuing stray cats, protecting community cats and embracing black cats", and if you haven't visited her blog, please do!!)  The contest I had entered was the  "Rags to Riches" contest and you will never believe what I won!! LOOK!!!

How incredibly ADORABLE IS THIS? It is SUPER FUNCTIONAL TOO! It's HUGE! I loved it so much, and it was the PURRFECT size to take when I went to BarkWorld this past August. That was the purse that I used and I adore it!

Also on Christine's blog I won a LUGGAGE WEIGHER (which I haven't used yet, but I will)

And....the GRAND DADDY OF HER GIVE-AWAY....a $100 VOUCHER FOR DELTA AIRLINES!! WOOOO HOOO!!!  I am hoping to use that for a trip that I have to take this November. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH CHRISTINE!

But wait! There's MORE!

One of our favorite blogging cats, Cathy Keisha, aka "Stunning Keisha" and as we know and LOVE her, "CK", had an INCREDIBLE GIVEAWAY  for EZ Sunday. The prize was a $15 gift card for my choice of jewelry from CrystalsandJewelry.com which is made by Robyn Harton.

Oh my cat!! WAIT until you see what I got!  Robyn makes the most beautiful pieces and I couldn't make up my mind. I had emailed her telling her I didn't quite know what to do, and she was a complete and total doll!!! I told her my favorite color is GREEN and that my birthstone is an opal, and I asked if she could think of anything, and she MADE ME a custom necklace!!! LOOK AT HOW GORGEOUS THIS IS!!

It is so feminine and beautiful! Here is yet another photo!

See how she combined the green stones with opalescent stones? It is simply STUNNING! (Just like CK!). That was the necklace I brought with me to BarkWorld and I wore it every day. I just ADORE IT!

Robyn is a true professional and super easy to work with. I couldn't have designed a better piece myself. She TRULY understood EXACTLY what it was that I was looking for!

"Wordy Wednesday" Our "New Look" and The WINNER of "Cat Girl's Day Off" By Kimberly Pauley

Happy Wednesday everyone!! It's Cody and I am happy to be here with you today! Many of you may have noticed our new header if you haven't noticed, may I interest you in a pair of glasses?


Mom and I LOVED our old header, but for months I was bugging Mom telling her we needed an update. For the love of cats, we had the same header since at least 2010!!

There were many people we could have chosen to design our new header, but Mom is especially fond of a brilliant photographer, musician and concert pianist, named Rosie who also just happens to be the human sister of Dakota's girlfriend Eva, of the blog, Eva The Sheltie. Rosie also is the photographer behind  a large portion of the exquisite photos on their blog and designs all of their headers!
