Not all "Siblings" Are of the Same Species!

Happy National Siblings Day All!

I know Dakota and I aren't "brothers" in the traditional sense, but we all know that sometimes those who aren't your blood (or species) oftentimes make the BEST siblings of all!

  1. My human and I are best friends, and we certainly aren't the same species!

  2. Very true.....doesn't matter what species we are - it matters what we have in our hearts!

  5. We all get along with all species. Even the donkeys. When our dog Ande was here, we loved her. Have a fantastic day.

  10. Remember the days when people thought cats and dogs could never get along? :)

  11. Manny and CB are loving brofurs, unless there is food...then it's every cat for themselves!

  12. Our pawrents wished they got a puppy the same time they got me so that we could grow up together. Now they can't get a doggie because Buster and I are too bratty. We don't want to share our pawrents.

    1. I understand that completely. My Angel Bobo refused to share me with ANY other pet, that is why he was the ONLY pet for 18 years. Bobo hated other cats and having a dog was completely out of the question with him as well. He DID like the Sheltie that lived 2 apartments away from us, Shelties are known for being good with cats and our Dakota sure is. Dakota arrived 3 months after Cody was living here and they are both the same age which helps. Plus, in Cody's foster home, dogs lived there too and vice versa at the home that Dakota lived in. He was obsessed with the cats that lived with him. I totally get how you feel for sure!

  13. That is true. I was brought up with cats and dogs in our household and they all got on well together.

  14. Family can be those you choose, not just those you are born with.

  17. Back in the day when MJF was a puppy, Toki decided he was going to be the best furiend he could have, even though he already had a kitty brofur, MOL!
    They sept together sometimes.
Pipo is not willing to get too close to the pups here now, but he never cared too much for MJF either. Minko loved MJF, but he did not sleep with him...
Furblings...they seem to decide who are going to be their besties.

We love how you two get along so well.
