Holiday Cards From Michigan Humane Society Will Help Make Homeless Animals' Wishes Come True!

Cards feature adorable animals who were adopted from MHS

Help make wishes come true for homeless animals by sending out Michigan Humane Society (MHS) holiday cards, available in one warm and fuzzy style.  Each box includes 15 5”x7” cards and 16 envelopes and costs $12.95 plus tax. Order cards online at www.ShopMichiganHumane.org or by calling (800) 866-9189, weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. They are also available for purchase at the three MHS adoption centers in Detroit at 7401 Chrysler Drive, Rochester Hills at 3600 W. Auburn Road, and Westland at 900 N. Newburgh Road; and at Petco in Sterling Heights at 13701 Lakeside Circle.

Each card features three adorable animals – a Pekingese named Prince and kittens Sterling and Veronica – who found new, loving homes through MHS. The inside greeting is “Sending you warm and fuzzy holiday wishes!” The MHS logo and messaging on the back of each card will show your compassion for homeless animals in our community.

By visiting the MHS Online Store at www.ShopMichiganHumane.org, you can also check out the wide array of MHS logo apparel, pet calendars and other gift items for the people and pets on your shopping list. Each purchase will help MHS change animal lives this holiday season and beyond.

The Michigan Humane Society is the largest and oldest animal welfare organization in the state. MHS works to end companion animal homelessness, provide the highest quality service and compassion to the animals entrusted to our care, and to be a leader in promoting humane values.

  1. Nice to see a positive message! Too many sad shelter things coming out. So depressing and such a waste of time!

    1. Thanks guys! I agree! I ordered some from them last year, not sure about this year yet. They ARE always "up to something cool" and they get such a bad rap that I feel awful for them

  4. Here it is quite a scandal how little of the proceeds actually go to the charity for use in good works. We hope yours does well from the sales this year. Have a terrific Tuesday.

  7. They are nice and we like the idea, but we like to have our own photos on our cards. Maybe my cats would like to use them since they don't like to be in the family photos and they are adopted from the Humane Society in MN.

    1. yep they do make adorable cards. Last year I ordered 2 boxes from them. This year I am not sure if I will be able to send cards, not sure yet. If I order, I might be late! That is great that the Virginia Humane Society does the same :)
