  7. That's a wonderful way to see the two lovely holidays. May your lives be blessed also, you beautiful doggy and kitty and give mama a hug and one to whomever else is around,

  8. What a wonderful way to remember both lovey holidays. Hugs all around for the family. We miss going to a fantastic seder with our California friends but we're in France, so far away, and pretty much stay home because of so many tourists.

  10. Happy Times for you and your family, Caren! I always love how these days move according to when the full moon is.
Passover, while being a Jewish holy day/week, is important in our Christian Easter commemorations, too. Imagine that!

What a sweet picture of your furry celebrators!
Hugs from all of us! ♥

  12. What a great quote! We passed over Easter this year, spent it driving home from Wyoming, but it was a great trip.

  19. sorry to hear Roary isn't a cuddler but don't give up. The honest truth is that though Frodo has always been friendly, up until a year ago he NEVER cuddled with me. He never sat in my lap or slept with me and hated being held and didn't even purr much. He was more of a cat's cat. For five years that was how he was with little change. Seriously! Then when he turned six out of the blue it was like a light went off and he decided he was going to be a giant cuddler. He started kneeding me all the time, sits on my lap and just follows me. It was actually such a sudden and strange shift (though i loved it) i actually took him to the vet to make sure he was ok! That's how big of a change it was! He is still healthy and very very loving! So you never know -- it could happen to Roary! That's what we love about cats--you never ever know what to expect!!! They keep surprising us!

    1. that was the SWEETEST comment and I thank you!! Roary DOES cuddle with my husband (he prefers him), I think it's because my husband was the first to go and see Roary (I had found Roary online) and I sent my husband to see him (big mistake), to let me know if he was friendly and then I went with my husband the next day when we adopted him. I truly think that's why he prefers my husband. Roary WILL come into bed with me in the morning to be petted, but that's about it. My other two were huge cuddlers and this is extra hard for me losing Cody because so far, with me, Roary isn't. Hoping he changes like Frodo did!

    2. I really think if it happened to Frodo it can happen to any cat! Finger's crossed (and interestingly i find Frodo is much more attracted to men than women. I noticed he would follow construction guys at the house and would actually rub against them and then roll in areas where they were standing on our walks! I finally decided it had something to do with the scent of their sweat or maybe even testosterone! Never a dull life with a cat! Fingers crossed Roary may become more of a cuddler with you!

    3. Ha!! I LOVE IT!!!!! Roary loves strangers. The little jerk doesn't realize I am the one who saw his photo online and sent Lenny there to see him (because we had visited a few other cats together that didn't take to either one of us). I sent Lenny because I didn't want to be disappointed. I never thought that is who he is associating with adopting him. On the bright side. Roary only "talks" to me. He never talks to Lenny but he does "talk' to me. He's probably cursing me out (most likely for getting Levi lol), but he does talk to me! :)
