The NEWEST Litter in the World's Best Family of Litters!

Hi every kitty, It's Catvocate Cody! If you remember, back on February 18th I blogged about a MYSTERY litter that was going to be introduced by my furiends at World’s Best Cat Litter™

Well, guess what? It's here! I've tried it and now I am going to reveal the mystery litter! It's FOREST SCENTED CLUMPING FORMULA CAT LITTER by
 World’s Best Cat Litter™!
The new litter is available in
6 lb, 12 lb and 24 lb bags!
To visit the
World’s Best Cat Litter™ websiteclick here
Made with a blend of wood fibers, this natural scented clumping cat litter pairs the absorbency of whole-kernel corn with a fresh forest scent you’ll love. Safely eliminate nasty pet odors and simplify cleanup with the quick-clumping litter that adds a natural scent with no synthetic chemicals or perfumes!
When it arrived...I had one question:
My Mom was wondering about that too!

You know that some kitties are super finicky about having their litter substituted too quickly. That is why whenever you introduce a new cat litter you should GRADUALLY introduce the NEW litter with the old.

That is why my Mom
kept my former bag of
World’s Best Cat Litter™
so that she could GRADUALLY
mix it in with the NEW litter!
I have SUCH a smart Mom!
If you look closely you can see that the new litter is a MUCH lighter color than the previous World’s Best Cat Litter™ that I had been using. If Mom didn't listen to the advice that the World's Best people put on the side of the bag about GRADUALLY mixing the litter, I might not have tried it!

Mom didn't have to worry! I took to the NEW FOREST SCENTED Clumping Litter by World’s Best Cat Litter™ like a CHAMP!

Another concern that Mom had before she opened the new Forest Scented litter was would the smell be too strong?

Mom and I are pleased to tell you that NO the scent is pleasant, refreshing, it is NOT "perfumy" or overpowering which helped to put BOTH of our noses at ease!

Forest Scented Clumping Formula - Made with a blend of 100% natural wood fibers, this clumping formula is ideal for cat owners who prefer a fresh forest scent.

Why did the folks at World's Best Create this litter?

World’s Best Cat Litter™ created Forest Scented Clumping Litter to help retailers meet consumer demand for a high-performing clumping litter that combines the performance of whole-kernel corn with the added benefit of a fresh forest scent. In-home testing of more than 1,500 cat owners showed Forest Scented Clumping Formula met the high expectations of World’s Best Cat Litter™ while at the same time consistently outperforming competing litters.

Forest Scented Clumping Formula is different from other wood-based litters because it combines the naturally absorbency of whole-kernel corn with the gentle scent of 100% natural wood fibers.  The new formula is planet-friendly because the kiln-dried wood fibers are made of re-purposed tree shavings that might have otherwise gone to waste.  Be Among the First To Try This New Product!

The new litter began shipping to the stores on March 1st and should be on shelves by APRIL 1st! (and that is NO JOKE!)

It is also "no joke" that Mom and I are super happy with the new Forest Scented Clumping litter by World’s Best Cat Litter™ and we have a feeling that you will be too!

ATTENTION KITTIES!! Keep your eyes peeled!! We will be having a give-away soon!

Now go and tell your humans to pick up a bag and try this great litter!

So, from MY litter box to YOURS...

It's Catvocate Cody signin' off til next time!!

In full disclosure: I was not compensated for this review. I am one of a clowder of official "Catvocates" for World’s Best Cat Litter™ I was sent a GIANT bag of the new Forest Scented Clumping Litter by World’s Best Cat Litter™

    1. Hi Amy! That was the first question that I had and yes it is, but it is not written on the side of the bag as it used to be. World's Best is still doing more testing before they can print it on the side of the bag but when I asked I was assured that YES it is still FLUSHABLE. I have been and all is fine!

  3. This sounds like something we'd love!

...can you tell us how the tracking was?
Although the kitties like the formula, I've had some trouble with tracking on the carpeting that is nearby.
Just curious how that's worked for you. : )

    1. Hi Glogirly, Cody has an enclosed litter box, there is SOME tracking but nothing out of the norm. Cody is a "litter kicker" and if your kitties are too, that can add to tracking. I often add more litter than what is necessary that can also cause tracking.

  4. We are not that picky about litter around here. Actually, my human is pickier than we are - it has to be easy to get off the litter pans! There was one brand (I won't say which one - NOT WBCL!), but it practically glued itself to the pan and my human had to toss it out.

  6. This sounds like something I'd like! I'm a mostly indoor kitty BUT sometimes I go for a walk in our woods on my leash...I love to "do my business" in the woods so why not do it in my litterbox with those same outdoor smells?! Thanks for telling us about this Cody.

    1. well...we have a FRIED keyboard on Mom's other puter but that's a whole different story!
I would definitely give this a try, there is always some dust, but I find this to have less than any of the other litters that I have tried

  12. So how does it clump? Both TW and I hated the kind of World's Best Cat Litter we tried. It smelled terrible and didn't clump good. We've been reluctant to try those wood chunk litters cos you really can't mix it with the old litter. Unless we pick up a free coupon at Blogpaws, we're reluctant to try this. It'll prolly be another year before they get it in our town. HAH!

  13. Parental Unit and kitty Bella are both fans of World's Best Cat Litter, and we're thrilled to get the inside "scoop" on this new version of their litter. It sounds great and we'll be back to enter your giveaway!

  14. Cathy Keisha, we have been using "regular" World's Best for about 2 years now and find that it "clumps" wonderfully. We have never experienced a problem. Had I experienced any sort of a problem I would never have agreed to be a "Catvocate" I am not paid to be a "Catvocate" and I will only recommend products that I believe in. I find that the original World's Best does not smell terrible (to me, but that is subjective) and I find the new Forest Scent to not be overpowering. It is quite pleasing.
I have never seen "wood chips" in this litter...it is corn based with wood "fibers" which are more thread-like. I have not seen "chunks"
We will be having a give-away soon and maybe you might be inclined to enter?
Not sure if they will be at BlogPaws...the Catvocates are independent of BlogPaws

    1. Hi Sarah, I am sorry to hear that you didn't like it. I have used both scented and unscented and didn't experience a problem. You have more than one cat, right? Do you use multiple litter boxes? They say you should have one box per cat

      Delete
    2. Yeah, I have 3 litter boxes with the 3 cats and just couldn't get used to it so I went back to the regular clay based. My cats don't seem to care either way but I couldn't get past the smell... and that's with cleaning every day!

  24. Hi! Hiding this from Foxy till get more info! She probably would like the smell! Anyways, it sounds pretty good to me but I didn't see anything about multiple cats. Foxy has 2 brothers and a sister and we have to big litter boxes. Is this good for multiple cats or will I be doing litter duty more than once a day?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. that is a good question. They DO still have a multiple cat formula..have you visited their website? I linked to it in a number of places above.
To be honest with you, I scoop Cody's box a MINIMUM of twice a day and that is ONE cat!

  29. That's interesting: usually none of us - kitties or human - like scented litter but it you say the scent is not too strong, maybe I'll ask my human to buy one.
