#GiveAway NEW #NutrishPets Zero Grain Chicken & Potato Recipe Cat Food! #Ad

Rachael Ray Nutrish has sponsored this post, but all opinions are my own.

Kitties!!! It's Cody, the King of All Things "Delish" by Nutrish,  and today I am super excited to tell you about the latest offering from our friends at Nutrish!!

There have been A LOT of HEALTHY changes taking place at "Casa de Cody"!! One of them is that Mom is FINALLY going to quit smoking THIS WEEK! Hooray! She is nervous about becoming even MORE rotund than she already is, so she has been making some important changes to her diet. That is a GOOD thing! Those changes include reading the ingredients that are listed on the food that she stuffs in her face. Sometimes there are bad things hidden there!

Since I tend to be a tad roly-poly myself, Mom also carefully reads the ingredients that are in MY food because she wants me to eat as healthy as I can, to help me live a long and happy life! Good quality ingredients are just as important in MY food as they are in the food that Mom eats!

Nutrish to the Rescue!!

A few weeks ago I received a surprise from my pals at Nutrish. They wanted to tell me about their NEW Zero Grain Chicken & Potato Recipe Food for Cats!!

There were SO MANY GOODIES in this box (that YOU will be able to win after you read this post!!) that I couldn't wait to get my paws on them!!

About Rachael Ray Nutrish:
In 2014, with help from cat nutrition experts at Ainsworth Pet Nutrition, Rachael Ray created Nutrish super-premium food for cats. Nutrish dry and wet cat food recipes are made with simple, wholesome ingredients like real meat or fish, and do not contain poultry by-product meal or fillers.
Rachael’s personal proceeds go to Rachael’s Rescue, which was created to help shelter pets in need. To date, she has donated over $14MM. This money has gone toward food, medical supplies and treatments for these unfortunate animals.

All of the Rachael Ray Nutrish products are available where you shop for your family’s groceries, making specialty recipes accessible and convenient for every pet parent.

*****Please make sure you follow this transition plan: Because Nutrish Zero Grain Chicken & Potato may offer different ingredients than your cat is used to, it may take up to ten days for your cat's system to become acclimated. Slowly mix with the other food over a 5-10 day period until your cat is solely eating the new recipe.

  2. Cody! BRAVO FOR YOU and BRAVO FOR MOM CAREN. This food sounds like it will be just the ticket for you to eat healthy but mostly we're so excited about your Mom quitting smoking. Tell her my Mom says she will only gain weight when she quits if she LETS herself gain it. My Mom didn't gain a thing - she just was more careful what she ate instead of using food as a substitute for the cigarettes! WE THINK YOU BOTH ROCK!

    Hugs, Sammy
p.s. I would be the kitty to eat the food (of course!)

    1. Thank you!!! I am so happy to hear that! Can't mention brand names/companies here but in the meeting I go to on Saturdays, another woman told me she actually LOST weight quitting smoking doing exactly what you just mentioned. I am planning on upping my exercise, water intake, (coffee lol) and spending LESS time online......praying that works!! Thank you and good luck!

  3. I've been wanting to try this grain-free brand! Thank you for the review. And you can do it regarding the smoking. Dan gave it up cold-turkey after smoking for over 35 years. He's been smoke-free for nearly 4 years now!!

  10. First off, my condolences to Linda S. above, for the loss of your boy. Our kitties are stuck with their food, since the holistic vet recommended it specifically for Chuck's health probs, but am glad that you like it so much, Cody! Give your momma extra luvs; quitting smoking is going to be a big change! Good for you, Caren!

    1. I understand, and that was extra sweet of you to comment!!! Yes, it will be a change. I stopped smoking in the car over 2 yrs ago (THAT WAS A HUGE CHANGE) for me. If I can quit as easily as I did not smoking in the car (I used to smoke like a chimney when I drove), I should be ok. Lenny doesn't smoke. I smoke outside. Only one of my friends smokes. I should be ok. Also, I can't afford it any longer lol!!!!! Thanks so much!

  28. What a pawsome giveaway!!! Mudpie eats the regular Nutrish kibble every single day, and I've been wanting her to try this one because it's grain free. Knowing how fussy she is though, I've hesitate to buy a full-size bag. I wish pet food companies would sell smaller sample packages! MOL

    1. Yes it is thanks! They have smaller bags, not just the large ones. You could always donate it to another kitty but I think Mudpie would like it.

The Mr. finally stopped smoking for good 3 years ago after a few attempts to quit. He used the patch & said it works great if you follow the directions. :) Previously he would stop using it before the 6 weeks were up & would end up smoking again. You can do it! <3

  40. Hello Cody,
That's a real good idea. Grain free food is really better for us. Just be carefull. Most of the time grain free dry food is for kitten and adult cats. It means that ... you will have to eat less or you will become like Loustiquette !
I have some dry food like this, but not this brand. Anyway I think that we cannot buy it in France. I eat Taste of Wild or Granatapet.
    Congratulation to your mother.
