Festive Friday Funny: Feliz Navidad

Hi All, it's Cody!  Today I want to share a hilarious video of my Mom. If you are on Facebook, you probably already saw this...but for those are aren't, it's worth a good laugh!

A few weeks ago at Thanksgiving we had family in visiting and everyone went to a great Mexican Restaurant, Mi Pueblo.

Dad played a trick on Mom. As you can see in the video Mom and the singer are wearing the same color. Dad went up to the band and said "My wife said since she is wearing the same color as you, she wants to sing with you!"

When the band approached the table and said they heard Mom wanted to sing with them, she was stunned. Being the insane person good sport that she is, Mom decided to go along with it and sing. Oh and you know what? Mom didn't have one sip of a "niptini" or anything else....imagine if she had!

I swear, you can't take her anywhere!!!!

Love, Cody

  3. Well, I must say when I saw that video on Facebook it made me smile - your Mom did a good job of accompanying the music-makers and I'm so glad it was caught on film - you should be able to get some giggles out of this FOREVER Cody! Tee Hee.....Also I keep reminding Mom and Dad that Santa DOES see everything they are doing so they'd best SHAPE UP QUICK because Christmas is right around the corner!

  5. Your mom is the life of the party, Cody! There was someone at your table, not your dad, another man, looking very serious, taking a sip of his drink. LOL. We think your mom did a great job! Our biped is a high-scale introvert and no way in this world would she do something like that! :-D

    1. Trust me, she isn't always!!! Oh that was mom's brother-in-law...she loves him!! She thinks he was trying not to think that she was insane because his face showed that he thought she was. Well, she IS! MOL! Believe it or not.........my Mom has MANY, MANY "high-scale introvert" moments. She HATES "peopling" avoids crowds, hates large parties, prefers to go out to eat with one or two people........she is super friendly and outgoing to strangers lol.........but she far prefers animals to people. Love, Cody

  22. Wow! That was a ton of great fun!!

Now its your turn to dream up a good trick for a payback, Caren, MOL!

Once we played a trick on Pawppy...she told him she had to go and use the restroom...but while she was up she told the waitress it was his birthday...but he didn't know she had done that and was *SO* embarrassed when they all came to sing to him:)
He even got a cake! Did you get a prize for your singing/dancing efforts??

Have fun in the snow today...and tomorrow...and...sigh...

    1. LOVE your story! Nope, didn't get a damned thing! lol....I am staying home tomorrow. Husband is planning on going to the game. Didn't want both of us gone in case it took us hours to get home from Ford Field. The boys come first you know ;)

    2. They already cancelled our Church services tomorrow...its a 26 mile trip - one way...so at least that is one less worry. Now the only one is getting back and forth to my work.

    3. Please be careful! I was supposed to go to the Lions game with my husband. They are calling for the heaviest snow to be during the game and right after, soooo.....because of mostly Dakota, I opted to stay home. We always drive to a bar and take shuttle (we barely drink, but we take the shuttle to avoid traffic/parking fees)....so husband left at 8:30am. no way was I leaving at 8:30 am and waiting for the bus (which doesn't come til 11am)....and then possibly not get home tonight til hours after the game ends (due to the snow). Didn't want poor Dakota to have to hold his bladder that long. So, I am home, warm and toasty with my two "favorite boys" Please be careful!!! xoxoxo
