  1. Our ground hogs are smart...they stay in their burrows. Its too cold...we should just be patient like them and hibernate till that day in March..

You do look sweet there, with your brofur, Cody!

  3. Yeah, I always wondered what the big deal was about the groundhog and his fake predictions.

  4. Happy Groundhog Dog, guys! Yes, there always are at least 6 more weeks of winter, regardless of what the groundhogs say. At least for those of us who live in Canada. :-D

  5. You are funny! No shadows here, it is far too wet and miserable today.

  6. HAHAHAHA......I think of groundhogs as GIANT MOUSIES.....but they are kinda cute! I think weather will be whatever it is whether someone sees their shadow or not. I think most people do but we can BLAME the groundhog if we don't like the weather we get from here on out!

  10. We haven't even felt winter here yet...perhaps we will in the next six weeks? And no, your butt does not look like a groundhog, Cody.

  11. You are so correct Cody, winter is going to be with us for six more weeks no matter what the shadow does. Maybe we will get lucky though and it might get a little warmer.

  15. Funny post. 99.9% of the time Phil's prediction is 6 weeks more of winter. I only remember a few times we get Spring and that didn't always work out. Cody, you're not fat. Happy Groundhog Day despite his prediction.

  19. I always know which day is the first day of Spring, 'cause it's my birfday, Cody! And no, you don't look like a ground hog, or wood chuck, or marmot!

  20. Ha, exactly. Just pinned and tweeted. AND yay, we are half done with winter!

  21. That stupid camera always adds thirty pounds! The humans detest it for themselves - but slap pictures of us in the same position all over the place! We think you're much cuter than a groundhog, Cody ... just saying!

  22. Oh Cody! You’re way handsomer than some stoopid rodent.

  23. To me if he sees his shadow that means spring must be around the corner...in 6 weeks!

  28. You're so right. That poor groundhog ... so many expectations, when all he wants to do is be a groundhog.

  29. You know, we came to your blog yesterday. And .. we understood nothing. Strange story.
Then, yesterday evening, during the 8pm news on the french television we saw a "reportage" about this strange town and a groundhog...
So now we know everything about the "groundhog day". It's a little weird.
We are happy that it is still winter. Last summer was bad, really hot, long and dry.
