Me and My Mini Me!

  Hi my furiends! It's Cody!

A few weeks back, an auction was held for "The Baby" from The Katnip Lounge, and I was the incredibly LUCKY, highest bidder of greeting cards that were created by Lisa-Lin from the blog Noir's Nook.  During the same auction, my Mom also bid on something really special and she was the highest bidder on this item too! Wait til you see! First, a little background info:

For many months, Mom would be reading blogs and noticed that many of the woofies and kitties had adorable crocheted items called "Mini -Me's."  A "Mini -Me" is a crocheted replica of a doggy or kitty,  they are made by a special furiend of ours named Lynne over at the blog, Sketching With Dogs.

Mom was smitten and promptly ordered one of Dakota that Mom adores! When Mom saw that a Mini Me was being offered at the auction, she HAD to enter! When the package arrived, Mom was ecstatic, I was curious.

For all of my 7 years Mom  always promised me that there would  be NO CATS invading my space. She was true to her word, and I was thrilled. Then what happens? See for yourself!

"Who the heck are you???"
He looks just like me!

To make things worse, he would NOT
GO AWAY!!

Desperate times called for desperate measures!
I knew I had to have a talk with
the interloper!

We talked for hours................
Finally, we reached an understanding, and I decided that since he can't eat my food, that maybe he isn't that bad after all. It would be nice to have a kitty to talk to, as well as a back up to annoy my Sheltie brother, Dakota.

Maybe this guy wasn't half bad.

After all, he looks just like me!!!

I can tell him all sorts of secrets!!!

Maybe I will even put the "bitey" on  him,

when Mom isn't looking of course!

It's me and Mini-Cody taking on the world!!!!

Thanks so much Lynne for making such a cute Mini Me!!!
If you want one too, for the time being Lynne is taking a break from making them, but she assured me she will be making them again soon!!!!!
