Cat Toy Tunnel from Dezi & Roo: "The Original Hide and Sneak" (Give-Away!)

Disclosure: Cody and I received The Original Hide and Seek in exchange for our honest review. In keeping with the holiday spirit of giving, we waived our normal review fee.

Cats and paper bags.  What cat can resist a nice, crinkly,  paper bag?  Let's expand on that a bit, a paper bag that is a TUNNEL is better yet! Especially for multiple cats!

Designed and handmade by US - veterinarians Cody was lucky to have The Original Hide and Sneak sent to him by our friends at Dezi & Roo.

The Original Hide and Sneak came with a sample of Silver Vine and detailed instructions about how to set up the Hide and Sneak
As it turns out the Silver Vine wasn't necessary. I threw a few of Cody's favorite treats into the opening and he was off to the races. Unfortunately, since I live in a condo with a resident dog, I was greatly limited in reference to the amount of space I had to take GOOD photos and video. I wasn't able to shoot a video because of space constraints, (and we didn't want a nosy dog ruining it). The Hide and Sneak is approximately 12" x 12" x 35" when expanded. It is available in single, double, or bundle packs.  You can see some cute videos on their website.

DEZI & ROO is  a group of veterinary professionals with more than 30 years of experience meeting the health and behavioral needs of our beloved feline friends. They have researched the vast array of pet products on the market and have identified those that best serve their purpose and your needs. Dezi & Roo improves lives through enrichment, education, and endowment, and is dedicated to helping animals and people. At Dezi & Roo they  believe it is not just about helping the animals- It's about helping the planet. Read more about the company philosophy.

Here is the clincher, Cody is NOT a huge fan of tunnels but he DOES enjoy a good paper bag! While Cody had fun with it, I do think that this toy is IDEAL for a home with more than one cat! It is IDEAL FOR A MULTIPLE CAT HOUSEHOLD or, if your kitty is younger than 10-year old Cody. Cody is LAZY!  But he DID have a good time!

The founder of Dezi & Roo, Dr.Lynn Bahr, DVM recognizes that feline behavior problems often lead to abandonment, re-homing, relinquishment to shelters, and even the premature euthanasia of a healthy cat has lead to Dr. Lynn Bahr to  find ways to strengthen the partnership between people and their pets. This is where Dezi & Roo came from. (And, the company is named after her kitties!)

Her business focuses on providing effective products, tools, and training to successfully resolve issues that cat lovers face. Dezi & Roo gives pet parents the opportunity to learn more about what their cats need and why they need it, and the ability to purchase well-researched items to meet those needs. Plus, they donate a portion of the sale of every product to pet-related charities to help  animals less fortunate than our own.

Once again I think that MOST kitties would have a blast with The Original Hide and Sneak cat tunnel,  it would make a great holiday gift for your kitties, for a shelter, to welcome a new kitty to your home and more! You  are in luck!  We have a GIVE-AWAY! One lucky reader who is 18 and over and who lives in the continental U.S. will win one of their very own! (An approx $10 value).  Entering is easy, just enter on the rafflecopter below and good luck!

  12. I'm glad Cody had fun with the tunnel. We have a very small space here and Annie isn't a tunnel fan (or a bag fan). I hope someone with young kitties or kitties that enjoy tunnels wins. I think they'll have a blast with this.

  16. That looks like a lot of fun. Bear's not big on tunnels either - though I bet it would be put to good use when Bear and Ellie are in the mood to play. We hope we win!

  21. A stiff paper tunnel is a fantastic idea. My former kitties (who didn't mind paper crinkly noise) would have loved that.
