At least it wasn't a CAT!! Camera Day

According to Days of the Year today is Camera Day. I thought it was a great chance to show you how my Dad cheated on Dakota and I this past Saturday. You see, Mom and Dad went to Grand Rapids, MI on Saturday, June 24th (their wedding anniversary!), to attend the wedding of their cousin. They rode with my Uncle Bill and my Aunt Judy. Well, as evidenced by the photo below, it appears that SOME WOOFIE who just happens to be our cousin Punky, began celebrating early.

Hey Punky!! Why don't you just steal my Dad while you are at it! Thank goodness Punky isn't a CAT!!!

(From the Mom: Punky is actually a sweetheart. She stayed on my husband's lap during the entire trip 2 hour trip! She slept most of the way there, and was as content as could be!! We love her to pieces!!)

HOW TO CELEBRATE CAMERA DAY FROM DAYS OF THE YEAR: There is no better day than Camera Day to snap some photos during your lunch hour, on your commute to work, or whenever a moment of inspiration strikes. Cameras and photography have developed substantially over the years, from its early roots with the French inventor Joseph Niépce right up to modern-day digital photography.

Joseph Niépce was a French inventor; he is most noted as one of the inventors of photography and was a pioneer in the field. He developed the heliograph; a technique used to produce the world’s first known photograph in 1825, the view from the window at Le Gras the family's estate. 2. We just know that our dad will be following us around with the camera today! It is nice that your dad's lap is so comfy but you have to watch dogs because they are known lap stealers!

  8. Punky is adorable. :-)

Ditto Chuck's comment: Every day is camera day in this house. (Or almost every day!) The biped's either snapping pics of us or she's snapping pics of flowers or other critters or trees or...well, just about anything (except people-lol).

  10. I haven't used an actual camera in years! I want a really nice one though; to take close-ups and also cloud photos. On my list! Punky is adorable, but not as cute as you Cody

  11. This is unbelievable. Your Mom started behaving also really really bad , Cody. Did they wash his clothes before they came back? Did you sniff the evidence?

Don't accept their behavior, do something NOW. First it's a dog on a way to a wedding, and next thing you know a dog is living at your place, stealing your favorite spot and eating your food if you aren't fast enough!

  20. Well Camera Day is not something that we would want to celebrate! Cody, you were very gracious to allow your dad to share his lap with Punky. He's very cute.

  21. I am shocked, Cody, that your Dad would do that!! But, well, Punky IS cute. Not that he's cuter than you, of course. :-)

  23. Oh what a lovely woofie. Our neighbors can no longer take care of their woofie (sad) so they approached our humans if they could take him. What a cute little doggie but painfully shy and does not bark, but we cannot take him in right now. Emma and I are not in a sharing mood for the last 7 years. We don't take kindly to other creatures inside the house.

    1. Mom says that is how my Grandpa Bobo was. He was the ONLY pet. He didn't like other cats and he tolerated dogs (He liked a Sheltie that lived near Mom and Bobo)......Shelties are known for being super good with cats. I think it worked out for Dakota and I because I had only been living with Mom and Dad for almost 3 months when Dakota came and I was quite young. Love, Cody
