Play Ball and a Give-Away Delay!

Hi All! It's Cody!!!!

First,  I would like to THANK EVERYONE who stopped by my blog, emailed me cards and posted on Facebook to wish me a Happy Birthday! It is much appreciated!

Also...the give-away that was planned for today was NOT an April Fools joke. Mom and I apologize, but there has been a slight delay because Mom ran into an issue that she needs to have cleared up before she can post the give-away. We are hoping to post the give-away tomorrow, but as of now, we are not sure. Thank you  for your patience and please keep your eyes peeled for it!

Today, Mom, Dad and I are excited because BOTH of their teams are kicking off the 2017 baseball season!!!

Dad's team, (and the team that I favor, because I am a feline, The Detroit Tigers), begins their season at 4pm today. They are playing the Chicago White Sox.

MOM'S TEAM (The defending American League Champions, The Cleveland Indians) kicks off the 2017 baseball season at 7pm today against the Texas Rangers.

Yes, Mom lives in Detroit, but she lived in Cleveland for 35 yrs so Cleveland is HER TEAM!!! Also, today it has been 16 years since Mom's Dad passed and he was a HUGE baseball fan. It was thanks to Mom's Dad that she developed a love for the "Boys of Summer" too.

Mom, Dad, Dakota and I wish EVERYONE'S TEAM lots of luck in 2017 but for Dad, I say "Goooooooo Tigers!!" (Dakota, is cheering for Cleveland because he is a MAJOR Mama's Boy!!)

Love,
 Cody

  3. Cody, I am surprised that having that Indian scarf so close to the Tiger's hat hasn't caused some sort of fire to erupt! LOL!

  11. Well, the Tigers didn't want to get all wet, and the White Sox purrfur dry feet, so the game was postponed...sheesh the opening game of the season. Bummer.

We are glad that baseball is back! Play Ball!!

  15. I'm so glad it's baseball season again! It means there's lots of long, warm days to look forward to. Go Orioles!

  16. Around here we know next to nothing about baseball, but we wish both of your teams good luck! Is that allowed? Well, anyway, play ball!

  17. A multi-team baseball household. Could get interesting!

  18. Cleveland really disappointed me. As a lifelong White Sox fan, I deigned to cheer for them against the WORST TEAM IN THE WORLD in the World Series. And then they blew it. Never again, Cleveland, you're dead to me (unless you play that team again, in which case I will temporarily jump back aboard your bandwagon).

  23. Our team (Red Sox) won their opening game - yay! We understand those giveaway delays, we've had to do them ourselves. Hope you get it worked out!

  24. We hope both your peeps' teams do well! Our peeps are from Kansas and lived in Colorado for a long time so they are Kansas City Royals and Colorado Rockies fans. That theory doesn't go for football because they are Chiefs fans but cannot stand the Denver Donkeys! :)
