Pig In A Blanket Day

Ok, so that was kind of mean of me to use Cody in photos for today, which is "Pig In A Blanket Day."

FROM DAYS OF THE YEAR: Pigs In A Blanket are a simple concept and have been found throughout the world in many variations since time out of mind. You simply take a sausage and wrap it! Usually, you’ll find them wrapped in some form of pastry, with puff pastry being one of the most universally popular. Learn more about "Pig In A Blanket Day" here!

Relax Cody! You know I REALLY featured you on this day, not because of your ample "belleh", but because of your complete DELICIOUSNESS!

  5. Even though we think pigs are adorable, you are 100 times more adorable Cody and being wrapped up in a blankie like a "pig in a blanket" isn't such a bad thing right?

  6. You're certainly no pig, Cody. But they're cute too :)

No pigs in blanket for Mum though. She won't eat meat.

  7. You make a cute piggie in a blanket, Cody! Don't worry--no one would ever mistake you for a real sausage 'cause you're too furry :)

  8. Cody, you look adorable in those pics, and we can see why that cuteness had your mom choosing the pictures. But even so...! You're definitely not a pig-in-a-blanket! Now if we had a pic of Derry wrapped up in a blanket, that might be different. :-D

  9. Hey Cody-You are cute and snuggly. Our Mom does stuff like that to us, too. Perhaps you could guilt her into some extra treats, toys or cuddles?!

  13. Cody, you're so cute! We didn't know there was a pig in a blanket day. Mommy said they used to serve those in school way back in the dark ages when she was there.

  18. How rude of your mom! You don't look like a little piggy to me. The pigs in blankets that we have are little sausages wrapped in bacon.

  25. Piggly wiggly in a blanky! Oops...we truly didn't mean that, MOL! It was the petcretary, honest!

She remembers those too...her family called them saucijzenbroodjes(sausage-breads), and oooh they were so hearty and yummy! Nope haven't had them in eons...though here we used to wrap the hotdogs in crescent rolls, MOL! Then *we* turned into the pigs:)
