"Cats don't like change...."

"Cats don't like change without their consent. " ----Roger Cara's....Colored by Caren from the coloring book "Coloring Cute Cats and Pretty Kitties"-----purchased for me by my husband.

This post was entered from my phone...was trying an experiment! The quote listed above was printed on the page to the left of the photo to be colored. What is great about this book is that each page you color has a different cat quote!

  5. Beautiful! And that quote is so true--our cats, especially our tortie, object vigorously to change.

    1. Thank you!!!!! It's funny you said that because they advise that you stick with a color pallet (which I NEVER do)........I don't follow rules lol. I pick colors and if they appeal to me at that moment, that's what I use!

  11. What a purrfect present! I'd like to see more. Do you find coloring relaxing?

    1. Thanks! Yes and no lol..........at times it is relaxing...but...I think it is better for those who have ZERO art background....they don't care as much about what they are doing. For me, (and most likely you too), at times it isn't relaxing because having a background in Art it has to please me. This one didn't please me as much as I thought it would. That being said, I do enjoy coloring!

    1. Thanks!! It didn't let me center the photo though and I had to add the bottom text on the post from my laptop. It's good to know I can do it in a pinch though!

  15. Your coloring is so perfect! I bet that is very relaxing. I like to do online jigsaw puzzles sometimes to relax, but I've been thinking about trying coloring too.

    1. oh thank you!!! It is somewhat relaxing, probably more so for others, I am too concerned about it looking perfect which makes it less relaxing for me! lol You should try it, I think you would LOVE IT! I am terrible at jigsaw puzzles, I don't have the patience for them at all!

    1. Thank you so much!!! I will whenever I have time to do more. I want to do some for Dakota's blog too (dog oriented), haven't done that yet. You can get some inexpensive ones on Amazon and I got a few books at a store called "Five Below" if you have one there, check it out. Also, many people prefer colored pencils, I don't, but would use them in a pinch. Since you are an artist I would be interested to hear what you prefer. I have an art background and so far, I prefer the gel pens...the real fine pointed ones are super easy to work with and I like the quality of color that they provide. xoxo

  32. Very interesting quote there. I never known this before i thought they like new things and changes because of their curious nature. I guess cat's characteristic is somehow similar to that of human in a sense. Love your picture also.

    1. Most cats are creatures of habit when it comes to their routine...but...you are right....bring in a new box or paper bag and that's another story entirely! Thank you about my picture!
