In Our Hearts and Our Prayers

There has been so much sadness in the blogosphere the past few months.  Too many doggies and kitties have been ill and many have gone to "The Bridge." (We can't list them all because we are certain we would accidentally forget some and we don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.).There has been sadness with human health conditions as well.  We want to take a moment and tell all of our friends that we wish we could make the pain go away. We wish we could bring the furbabies back who have left us, and we wish we could heal those who are hurting, but we can't.

What we CAN do is tell you that we love you, that we  are thinking of you and keeping you all in our prayers.

  2. Yes that is true, way too *much* sadness indeed. We add our purrs and pawyers.

We send comfort and sympathy too, to those that are feeling the sadness directly...and POTP.

Let us all hope that soon we will hear lots of happy and joyful things:)

Hugs and purrs and have a nice springtime weekend.

We hope that some happy comes into everybody's lives real soon because sad is sometimes overwhelming. We are HAPPY to have you as friends - you're caring and sweet and we love you and all our friends too!

    1. I know...the kitty you are referring to is the one who totally took me over the edge. I have not been able to shake the sadness that I am feeling. I don't even want to blog. Don't feel like being cheerful. I am so sad for the families of these pets. There are so many that are ill or that have already passed. It just seems like there are so many more in recent months than I ever remember. Lily and Edward said it right "that's the one thing about blogging" that is so hard. We become so attached to these pets because their humans do such a wonderful job of sharing their personalities and lives with us. If I even attempted to do a list of all the kitties/woofies that have passed or that are ill and those that might be going to the Bridge soon, I would invariably forget someone and I don't want to do that. The list would be so long too. I wish I could help each and every furbaby and human who is hurting. It is just so sad.

  22. In my country we have a saying that goes kind of like this: when leaves fall so do men (referring to Winter bringing many deaths). With the arrival of Spring I hope we hear more happy stories instead of sad ones.

  35. It seems like we go through cycles in the blogosphere of losses, but this is a really bad one, and it's heartbreaking. The head peep wants to gather everyone into a big group hug. Seems like we all need it right now.
