Detroit Lions Punter Sam Martin and Premier Pet Supply Invite You To Dress Your Pet for Halloween To Help Homeless Animals: #KickOrTreatfor6

For each costumed pet entry, Michigan Humane Society
will receive $6 and 6 pounds of pet food

Detroit Lions punter Sam Martin, with support from Premier Pet Supply, is kicking off a social media Halloween pet photo contest to benefit the Michigan Humane Society (MHS). Pet lovers are asked to dress up their furry friend in a Halloween costume and post it to their social media account using the hashtag #KickOrTreatfor6. For each photo entered in the contest, Martin will donate $6, and Premier Pet Supply will donate 6 pounds of food to MHS.

“This is a fun and creative way to celebrate the season and show your love for your pet while helping animals in need,” said Mike Robbins, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at the Michigan Humane Society. “We are grateful for the continued efforts and commitment of Sam Martin and Premier Pet Supply in helping animals in need.”

The contest will run from Thursday, Oct. 1 through Sunday, Oct. 25 with Martin announcing the winners of his Halloween social media campaign on Oct. 26. There is no fee to enter. The top three entries will be chosen by Martin and will receive the following prizes: First place - Four tickets to a Detroit Lions game and free dog food for a year. Second place - Two tickets to a Detroit Lions game and a Premier Pet Supply gift card. Third place - A Premier Pet Supply gift card.

“It’s always been an interest of mine to help out animals in need, and partnering up with the Michigan Humane Society and Premier Pet Supply is a great way to continue to help support animals right here in Michigan,” said Martin.

“We are very excited to be teamed up with Sam Martin in a campaign that benefits the Michigan Humane Society and of course, a great cause,” said Mike Palmer, owner of Premier Pet Supply.

Premier Pet Supply, located at 31215 Southfield Road in Beverly Hills, offers cutting edge items at a great price with a product focus on natural & holistic foods, treats and supplements for all pets.
