The Comeback Cats Got It Done!!! (Detroit Lions In London)

Wow!! What a game!!! My feline furiends, The Detroit Lions were in London yesterday playing the Atlanta Falcons, they were down 21-0 at halftime, and came ROARING back to beat the Falcons in the FINAL FOUR SECONDS to win 22-21 !!!

There was a lot of cursing, sighing, Mom covering her eyes,  all kinds of screaming and shouting throughout the game from Mom and Dad, but they DID it!!!

Safe Travels Home Boys!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you need me, I am EXHAUSTED from having teleported to London to make sure they got the job done, and will be spending my Monday SNOOZING in my "Royal" bed!

Love, Cody

    1. Thank you!!! I think it might have been meowmeowmans from Animal Shelter Volunteer Life who had one and I asked where they got it.....not sure.........I HAD to have one because when I adopted Cody, his name at the time was "Prince"....the bed says "Prince" on the cushion!

  9. The hubby and I sat in the car listening to the last quarter of game, as we drove around Grosse Pointe looking at the beautiful scenery. When the last kick was no good, I hung my head...but then they got to kick again! And they made it...wow, what a game! We happily left the car then, because we'd been sitting in the hardware store parking lot for awhile, and purchased 8 paper bag bundles, of which we only used 15 bags for this go-round with the leaves. Our backyard trees haven't even BEGUN to shed yet...I just make sure our friendly ferals aren't up to their armpits in leaves!

  13. It was funny because I checked on the game before commenting on your post yesterday, and it wasn't looking good for the Lions at all! I couldn't believe it when I later saw they won!
