Purrs and Prayers for Zoe and Chloe Jo

This sure hasn't been a good couple of weeks.........we lost too many human and animal furiends......now, our dear furiend Zoe from Brian's Home is scheduled to have surgery to remove stuff from her tummy that shouldn't be there!

We are purring and praying with all of our might that she will be ok!!! Brian and his furmily are always some of the first to be there helping kitties and humans alike, let's all start purring and send some healing vibes over to beautiful Zoe!

Then, we were reading some of the blogs that we follow and just learned that our furiend Chloe Jo from McGuffy's Reader is also not doing well.

We are also sending purrs and prayers to Chloe Jo and hope that you will do the same!

We were supposed to post something else today too, but my Daddy was in a bad accident on Wednesday....(thankfully he is ok, but his car sure isn't)................don't know what is going on in the Blogosphere the past few weeks, but it would be nice if it would stop! Mom and I are mentally and physically exhausted and are trying to catch up. If we aren't around much for a few days, it isn't that we don't care....it's just that some nasty things got in the way!

Be safe kitties and humans...........

It's crazy out there........

Love, Cody

  14. Gees, Caren...I'm not sure I should be checking in. :-( I'm so sorry about the car accident, but am so relieved your husband is okay. I hope he had himself checked out by his doctor anyway, you never know what could show up later (needing physio, I mean).

I've been getting a lot of Ann's emailed purr requests, of course, even though I'm not blogging for the boys right now. But what human passed away???? I've missed that.

My "old" boss at the office has been off with serious complications following routine day surgery (bladder puncture), my new boss has a kidney infection, I know of a few others in our building who have been sick or who are off indefinitely recovering, plus a director in another department passed suddenly. I have NO idea what's going on these days, but things seem really out of whack.

Purrs and peace to all in need, and lots of hugs to you and your husband, and Cody and Dakota too.

    1. Hi my dear furiend! It is ok!! Thank you! Yes, I took Lenny to our doctor late in the afternoon on Wed (the day it happened), to be sure he is ok. Thank God, he is. He was just shaken up. It had to have been terrifying (I wasn't in the car).
The human that passed was Lorie Huston, the President of the Cat Writers' Association, she was a veterinarian and she also blogged as well. Not sure if you knew her or not.
I am so sorry about all of the people who you know that are ill and I am terribly sorry about your director. OMG...........the planets must be out of control right now. Thank you sooooooooooooooo much for checking in with us. Much love! xoxo

  26. Dear Caren and Cody, So glad your Daddy is okay, though we are sorry about his car. It's been a hard month--even here, though nothing really horrible has happened--just a bunch of regular bad stuff that threw us into a big ole funk--the Human has not been helping me at all, but I hope once this awful month is over and the weather cools off for good, we will get back to posting more and visiting!!! Sending you lots of love and purrs, Spitty and the Human
