My name is Lisa Taron (aka The Pet Blog Lady) and I live in the Okanagan Valley in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.  My blog readers and Twitter & Facebook followers are from all over the world.  How I see it, when it comes to being an:  animal lover.... a "pet parent"... an advocate for unwanted pets.....It doesn't matter where we live.  We share a very strong common bond, that is the passion and love we have for our pets.  For the animals of the world in general. -

As luck would have it,

What is a Jewelry Keepsake?
From Jewelry Keepsakes:"Jewelry Keepsakes are a unique and innovative way to have a small remembrance of your loved one with you at all times. Our line of pendants, rings, and bracelets will hold a small tribute to your loved one inside of a beautiful piece of remembrance jewelry. Your precious remembrance can be a small amount of  cremains, some dried flowers from a funeral arrangement, a lock of hair or even some sacred ground from the burial site. This kind of versatility allows you to commemorate the life of your loved one whether they are cremated or buried and to do so with a beautiful and sentimental Jewelry Keepsake."

"When you lose a loved one you often long for a tangible reminder of them that you can have with you at all times.  Jewelry Keepsakes are a very personal and intimate reminder of your loved one that you can wear close to your heart on a daily basis. Our jewelry looks just like regular jewelry, but it has a hidden compartment inside the actual jewelry that is accessible through a small opening. Your memory of your loved one is secured inside the small compartment and kept safe with a threaded stopper. With every keepsake we send instructions on how to fill it, a funnel and filling stick to assist in filling it, and sealant to permanently seal it. You wear your cremation jewelry just as you would any other jewelry accessory."

"Jewelry Keepsakes come in a variety of different options.  Our keepsakes are available in Sterling Silver, 14 Karat Gold, Pewter, Titanium, Stainless Steel and Brass.  You can personalize your pendant with a select amount of engraving, as well as choose among several other options as well."

"Jewelry Keepsakes provides a wonderful opportunity to remember your loved one in a personal and intimate way. Our large array of pendants, rings, and bracelets allows you to find with ease that special keepsake that truly captures the life and spirit of your loved one, creating a treasured family heirloom to be passed down to generations to come."

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:Our gorgeous copper plated Buddy Heart pet memorial jewelry can be a touching way to remember a special pet in your life that has passed. Each copper plated Buddy Heart pet cremation keepsake comes with a matching chain and a kit that will help you to fill and seal your beloved pets ashes safely inside the small chamber. Size: 3/4" w x 1" h

With the help of the most PATIENT WOMAN IN THE WORLD at Jewelry Keepsakes, I chose the Copper Buddy Heart to wear in memory of my Angel Bobo.  I already have an urn that contains Bobo's ashes, and  didn't want to upset the ashes by opening the urn after so many years, so I decided to use some of Bobo's fur instead.

I had fur saved that the vet had clipped the day Bobo passed, (I store it in a porcelain heart container). I took out some of the fur, and with the funnel and stick that were included with my pendant, (see below),  I was able to put some of Bobo's fur in the Copper Buddy Heart.

I ADORE IT!!!

The chain is the PERFECT length! I love it because the chain is longer than many of my other pieces of jewelry, I love how it dangles further down my neck. Tears filled my eyes when I put it on after inserting Bobo's fur. Now I can keep him close to me every day. This pendant means the WORLD to me! The fact that it arrived right around the anniversary of Bobo's death is yet again, NOT a coincidence.

    2. Thank you for the kind comments about the passing of Nico. I adored him too and still do to this day. HCM was a terrible way for him to die from at the young age of 5 years old. He would of been 6 on 8/14/2014.
