  1. Don't worry, Cody. You are not alone. Glogirly just barely got my blog post done for today and she hasn't visited ANYONE. Something about being busy and tired and hungry and busy and tired.
I will show her your back of disrespect and make sure she takes notes.

  5. You know, I think there was something in the water for the New Year, because it seems like it has been getting off to a rough start for everybody! My human has had a rough time getting her computer stuff migrated over to the new MacBook and she has been up until 3 or 4 and overtired and cranky and fussy. She even had a meltdown yesterday morning over something that was keeping her from a deadline (probably because she only had about 4 hours of sleep the night before)! I will be SO glad when things are back to normal. Or semi-normal.

    1. Sparkle I think you are right! Mom felt so bad when she read this! She KNOWS about 4 hrs of sleep a night lately and that is one of Mom's "intentions" to get more sleep! What you are doing is MUCH harder than what Mom is doing and she hopes that you get that all cleared up!!!! We both send you comforting ((((hugs))))) Love, Cody and Mom

  9. Oh, Cody, good help is so hard to find! We know that your mom will get her priorities straight soon. The head peep keeps saying she is "stretched too thin" but we don't think she's losing any weight. Maybe she means like your mom?

    ReplyDelete

    1. My Mom said that "stretched too thin" about covers it! She thanks you for understanding and hopes that your poor Mom will get some relief too!! Love, Cody

  13. No worries, Cody, your human isn't as bad as ours! :-p

  14. Not to worry Cody. We all understand. Your mom will be back soon. So take care.

  15. Cody - good help is hard to find… Cut your mom some slack… she needs a break! and it is more fun that she beats to her own drum rather than join the crowd!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Don't encourage her Hilary, she says she DOES need a break but she doesn't even work full time like you do!!! "Beats to her own drum" is MUCH nicer than saying she is "certifiable" Love, Cody

  17. Sometimes humans just need to hit the paws button!

  18. Whew buddy - I'm glad you are just on a short break! (remind her it's just a short break! You know how those humans can stretch breaks out.)

    1. Hi Mario! Thanks!! Oh it will only be a day or so for sure!!! Yeah I know humans can stretch it out but this human better not! Love, Cody

  19. Such cat behavior. You kitties are so hard on humans, not like us dogs that let everything they do wrong slide. Hopefully your mom will catch up soon and get you the attention you demand.

    1. Oh Emma a little testy today are we????!!! MOL!!!! Dakota doesn't often let things slide either...but then again, he wishes he were a CAT!!! Love you Emma! xoxoxo

But IF you were a Florida Gators fan like ME, then maybe your mom wouldn't be so lazy with blogging! You see us Florida Gator fans, aren't lazy! Lol.

  24. I completely understand you Cody. My human helped me accept only today awards given to me back in early 2013! What are we expected to do with our humans, Cody?!?

Meanwhile, I have nominated you for the “Blog of the Year 2013 Award” =^.^=

  25. We all need breaks when we need them.... Oh...oh... HH said we've had too many. Okay then... can we borrow your picture of the back of disrespect?

    Have a great weekend.

    hugs, Bugsy and Knuckles

    1. Mom said she likes how HH thinks and couldn't agree more! As for you, Bugsy and Knuckles, you are more than welcome to borrow my photo! Love, Cody

  26. I'll help you give your mom the back of respect if you help me do the same to my mum. She had the nerve to tell me she hasn't helped me visit today because of a silly old thunderstorm. Worse still, when I went out in the garden she laughed at me because the wind blew me over.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Flynn she LAUGHED at you when the wind blew you over? That is TOTALLY unacceptable my furiend! TOTALLY! Let's join forces! Love, Cody

  31. Really, Cody? Cause it looks to me like she blogged kind of a lot! My Human helped me blog (most days) but what she has NOT been doing with any regularity is help me visit. We are surprised anybody a-members who we is! Sometimes like 3 or 4 days would go by and we didn't visit anybody! How freaking lazy is THAT I ask you? I think she needs to retire and devote more time to me and my blog. Pfft.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Spitty my furiend, the operative phrase in your comment is "she needs to retire" as in, YOUR MOM HAS A FULL TIME JOB........MY MOM HAS NOTHING, NADA, ZIP, ZERO.......but she has PLENTY of excuses!! xoxo

  32. Lol! I had to see it for myself! You know you're not alone....we took a pretty long blogging break too! Happy New Year!

    ReplyDelete

    1. LOL!! Yes...you took a long one but you have little KIDLETS!! If I had kids I would too. I only screwed up a day or so. I don't blog every day anyway, NEVER WILL! xoox

  33. Everybody needs a good catch-up day (or week or month...) every now and again. Somehow work has a way of piling up whether there is a holiday break or not. :P

    ReplyDelete
  34. Cody, you think you've got it bad. I've gotten like, what....three or four posts in 8 months.

The back of disrespect does not work for me. I hope it works for you!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I can believe that is frustrating! My luck is that I named my blog "The Daily Cat", so my secretary has to update it everyday, otherwise it would be just embarrassing! Or I should rename the blog. What my secretary should do more is to comment on my favourite blogs!

    ReplyDelete

    1. Carlos...what about the "Semi-daily Cat" MOL!!! Would THAT help? Love, Cody

  39. I sure understand Cody. I am a day behind on all my emails. Have a great weekend.

  40. Oh, Cody.... not the back of disrespect! Your mother works so hard on her blogs and catching up with everyone via comments and emails and she has Cody's as well (I know, much to your dismay, right?). :)
Caren - take it easy on yourself and allow yourself the break you need when you need it. We'll all still be here. That picture is hilarious, by the way!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yep for sure it is!!! Mom says THANK YOU for your caring and understanding...as for me? She puts waaay more time into Dakota's blog lately than she does mine!! I'll have NONE of it! I am happy you like the photo but Mom sure isn't!! MOL!! Love, Cody

  41. I don't think you're alone in this one, Cody. A lot of the Moms/Assistants are behind on everything! We need time to catch up after the holidays! It is actually a good thing to not be normal, you know, normal is boring! :)

    ReplyDelete
  42. I do understand. I SO understand. Those peeps and 'their' silly schedules that interfere with our 'superior and much more important' schedules. What can I say? MOUSES! That's what.

  43. and my hu-mom is moore hopeless than a run over frog *sigh*

  44. Have fun during your break! Our mom took some time but it was during the holidays and it didn't feel like a break.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Hey Cody,

Never mind your human. Do like Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar does. She takes over the computer and types away on the peeboard, um keyboard.

    Penny's alleged human,

    Gary :)

  46. Blogging is a lot of hard work....I don't know how you manage two Caren, let alone make them fun and interesting, but you do!
