Kittyo Will Revolutionize How Busy Cat Parents Interact with Cats While Away from Home

The lives of cat parents who miss interacting with their cat(s) while away from home will forever be changed in 2014!!

Kittyo announced its plan to launch a Kickstarter campaign to fund its high-tech, chic cat product by the same name in early 2014.  Kittyo will allow the more than 36.1 million U.S. cat parents, and even those around the world, to connect and interact with their furry companions while they’re away from home, no matter the distance.

Lee Miller, Kittyo inventor, said he came up with the concept while pet sitting a friend’s cat while she was away.

“It just hit me; there’s got to be a way to allow cat parents to interact with their cats while they’re at work or on the road traveling,” he said.  “Cats are members of the family, so it’s hard for cat parents to simply say goodbye for long periods of time, especially for the 55% of Americans who have more than one cat.”

Kittyo, although technologically advanced, can be easily operated by apps on any iOS - or Android-enabled smartphone.  Once the app connects with Kittyo, cat parents can:

·         Attract the cat to Kittyo through sound or direct communication
·         View their cat via the embedded webcam
·         Record videos and take photos of the cat while at play
·         Enable the interactive laser pointer to add fun and exercise to the cat’s day
·         Dispense treats

Kittyo will feature a design that complements any home’s interior due to Miller’s partnership with style and design innovators Ion Product Development.

And with great design and innovation comes great interest. Miller said he anticipates a large demand for this first-of-its-kind product, which is currently in pre-release development.  Currently, cat parents can sign up at Kittyo.com to be updated about how to purchase Kittyo at an introductory discounted price.

About Kittyo
Kittyo was invented by Lee Miller in 2013 after he came to the realization that there needs to be a way to connect cats and their parents while they’re away from home.  Pairing high-tech features and stylish design, Kittyo will provide cat parents a fully interactive way to be a part of their cats’ lives, no matter the distance, through iOS and Android smartphone apps.  A Kickstarter campaign will commence in early 2014 to bring Kittyo to market, and cat parents can sign up at Kittyo.com to be updated about how to purchase Kittyo at an introductory discounted price.

Kittyo is currently on Facebook and Twitter.

In full disclosure: I was not compensated for sharing this information. I was contacted, asking if I would share this information with my readers and because I loved the concept and in lieu of it being a Kickstarter campaign  I agreed to do so.

  6. Interesting! Sadly, they don't have a windows app, so we would not be able to use it until they get on a windows phone.

  9. Mommy read about this recently, and she was so disappointed that this is not available for purchase yet. She said it would definitely be under the Christmas tree if she could buy it now. She thinks it is the most meowvolous invention. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  10. Very interesting. Sounds kinda cool for sure. If M still worked, she'd consider something like that for me, but my peeps are home all the time now, so they keep me busy in person.

  15. I think I would need one to monitor my staff. It's easy to do when they are home, I just follow the lady of the house everywhere she goes. But when she goes to her other job, I just can't check up on her! Lord knows what she's up to there, I would most definetly need to keep an eye on her there too!

  18. We can't WAIT to get our paws on one when it becomes available!
I can see it now...Glogirly will be hiding in the upstairs bedroom with her iPhone, pretending to be gone!

I'm not into red dots myself, but Waffles can hardly control himself. So between that and the treat dispenser, we are EXCITED!

  23. Our mama really likes the idea of this gadget and wants one. We, on the other paw, think it is a very bad idea for her to see what we really do when she isn't home. But we do like the idea of treats being dispensed.
