50TH CELEBRATION ALL BREED & HOUSEHOLD PET CAT FANCIERS’ ASSOCIATION CAT SHOW

The Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA) will hold an all breed and household pet cat show on Saturday January 26 & Sunday January 27, 2013 at the Monroe County Community College – 1555 S. Raisinville Road – Monroe, MI 48161  from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The show will feature two days of judged competition (10 rings), as well as exhibitors and breeders providing information and offering close-up views of their cats.  Breeds represented will cover a wide variety, including Persians, Maine Coons, Orientals, Birmans, Tonkinese, Ragdolls, Siamese, Bombays and more.
"Merlin"

The show is sponsored by the Midwest Persian Tabby Fanciers, a local non-profit cat club. Internationally qualified CFA judges will evaluate the cats.

The show offers a variety of interests for all people, from cat enthusiasts to families with small children.  Judging will take place throughout both days, so you can be in a ring watching the judging, or walking the exhibit hall looking at the beautiful cats.  You can ask questions of breeders and exhibiters.  It really is great fun for everyone
Admission to the show is $6 - adults
 $5 - seniors
 $4 - children
and no charge to children under age 6.

Founded in 1906, The Cat Fanciers’ Association has been devoted to the promotion and protection of all cats.  CFA as a whole, as well as individual member clubs and individuals associated with CFA, have together made outstanding contributions in feline health, feline health research, animal welfare and disaster relief over the years.

    2. Merlin is camera shy! He is 10-1/2 years old now and retired to a life of hunting leaves, birds, squirrels and chipmunks through the windows of his home. Merlin is a wonderful boy, but he used to be quite the juvenile delinquent! We love him very much.

  18. Greetings,

Indeed, it's me, Penny the Jack Russell dog and the next 'Paw Minister' of Britain. Jolly good cat show. Will there be a 'cat walk'? Yes, I have forwarded this via the various social networks platforms.

Pawsitive wishes, Penny, the next Paw Minister of Britain! :)

    1. Hi Penny!! Should I be bowing now since you are a "Paw Minister?" Ohhhh I bet there will be a "cat walk" but "I'm too sexy" to go :)

  20. My Human has never actually attended a cat show, even though there was one pretty recently only a few blocks away in a building in Golden Gate Park. She feels a little nervous about the whole idea but she can't zacklee put her finger on why. I say she should go so she can come home and appreciate down-to-earth, non-diva-ish me. What d'ya think? Should she go next time???

    1. Spitty if your human has never gone to a Cat Show she needs to go at least once! There are "regular" cats there too, like you and I! She will NEVER not "appreciate" you so no worries! Love, Cody

  21. Oh Dog! I need to enter June Buggie in the cat show!

  23. Just hadda drop by and say: GO NINERS! I frankly don't understand what all the hoopla is about but the Human is all a-cited to have the World Series and maybe the SuperBowl champs in her city. I don't know why--she doesn't know any of them, she doesn't play on the team, she's not going to get a cut of any of the winnings. Humans are weird.
