Help Wanted! Pets Add Life (PAL)

With today being Labor Day in the U.S. my Mom and I wanted to share a special place that has a special message. We have a "job" for you that shouldn't be hard labor at all, but the completion of this "job" is super important.

Our friends at Pets Add Life (PAL) have a special campaign taking place right now and YOU can HELP!

Across the country there are millions of homeless pets who need your help. All homeless pets deserve a second chance.

How can YOU help?

You can PLEDGE to adopt your next pet-Mom wasn't able to adopt another pet but she did the next best thing. She paid for someone else to adopt a pet! You can read about that here

Mom and "Tigre"
before she paid for the
wonderful people to adopt him!

"Tigre" the "I'm Adopted" Sign
was posted after Mom
paid for the kind people
to adopt him!

UPDATE! Since mom originally wrote the blog post that she mentioned above,   Mom DID hear from the sister of the woman who Mom bought Tigre for and he is doing super well!! Here he is with an update!
FROM OUR FACEBOOK MESSAGING: "He is doing great! He and the other cat are getting along fine. He is the sweetest thing! Always wants a rub when I visit! My sister grew them some kitty grass and they decided to play in the dirt instead, silly kitties smile My son calls him Tigre still, my sister calls him Smokey...so I guess he is Smokey Tigre lol"

You can PLEDGE to volunteer at your local shelter, if you can't be there physically shelters have HUGE lists of items that they always need. Drop by your local shelter or give them a call. They will be THRILLED to hear from you!

You can PLEDGE to take a photo of a homeless pet and share it. This is super easy to do and MANY of you already do this on a regular basis. If you notice on the side of this blog, we regularly display a widget from PetFinder  that lists a local cat every day who needs a home!

See? I told you the tasks involved with this "job" are super easy to perform! Now...be sure to go over to Pets Add Life (PAL) on Facebook and make YOUR PLEDGE NOW!

After you make your pledge you can enjoy this great video from the Pets Add Life (PAL) YouTube Page if you have trouble viewing the video you can watch it by clicking here

This post is sponsored by the Pets Add Life campaign and the American Pet Products Association. I am being compensated for helping spread the word about the benefits and joys of pet ownership.

  1. Aunty Caren,
    I like that name: Pets Add Life. Mama supports the SPCA and so far has managed to get some of her friends to adopt some cats. Pray for more prosperity in our life so that our dream of having our own no-kill shelter will come through. har har har *happy laughs*

  26. That was very nice to pay for a kitty to be adopted. We help post cats and dogs who need home son our FB pae and Twitter. We are kind of our own shelter her with all of us so Mom has her hands full and we don't need more critters.

  28. Hey Cody! You know I couldn't agree more...adopt, adopt...but...we are moving and they would not allow cats, only dogs. Dad and Mom asked for a change in policy, and Dad completed the app and included my blog URL.The owner liked it so much, she let us live in her house, but only ONE cat. And, I, frankly, am scared of other cats...so we are currently a one cat family...wish we could have two more...paw pats, Savvy

She is sort of contemplating--she dunno though--I am SOOOOOOOO temperamental and easily frightened and upset, she does not know about rocking my world. We will has to see. XOXOXO

    @Benny & Lily us too!

    @Oui Oui we agree!

    @Sweet Purrfections Amen

    @Spitty Mom totally understands. that is how it was when she had my Grandpa Bobo. It was just him because he would have been AWFUL with other pets!

    @Savvy "only dogs?" That's unusual! It's usually the other way around. Mom understands because my Grandpa Bobo was the same way. he was the only pet.
