  4. Ahhhhhhhh.......foiled again! Actually now that I'm a cat of a certain age (!) I don't leap up on Mom's computer desk anymore so she's safe from "cat interference".....it was fun while it lasted though! :D

  5. Great reminder!! My oldest cat loves to snuggle next to the laptop because it's warm. I always make sure to shut it off when I am done. I am lucky, none of the cats have caused me to loose anything, every time I can only blame it on me. :(

  7. Mommy's way of "cat proofing" her laptop is called "yelling". Silly Mommy.
Her laptop recently had to be sent for cleaning coz it was all clogged with our fur and it was BURNING hot. Heh. Now she put mosquito netting under the vents to kinda, sorta, keep most of our fur out of the vents.

  10. We are such good kitties here. The only thing we do is walk behind the monitor and wiggle the wires back there and make the monitor go off. Those are some terrific things to do though. Love Sparkle's comment.

  11. Better make sure all our kitties don't see this! This is the cat version of cyber regulation! I cannot even imagine the anger it would cause and who knows what kind of riot would ensue!

  17. I had a friends dog get very excited and knock a glass of wine into my laptop which ended it's life! Good advice!

  18. My cats love to walk in front of the monitor and they get annoyed when I remove them! I think they just want me to pay attention to them and standing in front of me is their best strategy.
A few months ago I had a technician come over to fix my computer and he was amazed at how much cat hair was in the mouse and told me to be sure my cats stay away or else the mouse won't work properly.

  20. Abby hit the button to turn off everything while I was right in the middle of an email. BOOM everything closed up and then the computer fussed at me because I didn't shut down windows properly.

  22. When mum is using the desktop, she puts a chair beside it for me to get on the desk because when I jump up I knock the power switch and shut it down. I like to lie out on the desk and she has to peer around me. She also has to take the casing off every couple of months to de-clog the fans of cat hair. It's not my fault I shed so much.
