The Cat Fancier's Association All Breed Cat Show, April 9th & 10th In Allen Park, Michigan

The Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA) will hold an all breed, specialty and household pet cat show April 9 & 10, 2011 at the Allen Park Community Center 15800 White Street  Allen Park, MI 48101 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.


The show will feature two days of judged competition, as well as exhibitors and breeders providing information and offering close-up views of their cats.  Breeds represented will cover a wide variety, including Persians, Maine Coons, Orientals, Birmans, Tonkinese, Ragdolls, Siamese, Bombays and more.

The show is sponsored by the Just Cat-In-Around Cat Fanciers, a local non-profit cat club.   Internationally qualified CFA judges will evaluate the cats.

The show offers a variety of interests for all people, from cat enthusiasts to families with small children.  Judging will take place throughout the day, so you can be in a ring watching the judging, or walking the exhibit hall looking at the beautiful cats.  You can ask questions of breeders and exhibiters.  It really is great fun for everyone.

Admission to the show is $6 - adults, $5 - seniors, $4 – children (6-12) and no charge to children under age 5.  Parking is free.  Mention this press release and receive $1 off!

Founded in 1906, The Cat Fanciers’ Association has been devoted to the promotion and protection of all cats.  CFA as a whole, as well as individual member clubs and individuals associated with CFA, have together made outstanding contributions in feline health, feline health research, animal welfare and disaster relief over the years.

  3. Dat reminds mom to check and see when they will do a show in our area. She loves going to those and usually picks up some new toy to bring home for me as they have very unusual things there.

  20. They are gorgeous!! My favorite is a toss between Merlin and Popeye! But they are all certainly lovely!!

    Sounds like a nice show to go to for cat lovers and very reasonable too!

    BTW, our cat just discovered supermarket plastic bags. Nothing so funny as seeing a cat in a sack! But we have to keep them locked up as he will steal them off the table.

I wish we had one up here where I live in Northern MN, we just have dog show, which is fun, but I would love to see all the cats!! Hope you and Cody are having a nice weekend.

  32. @Coupon Queen oh you silly!! It wasn't my birthday it was Cody's!! lol. His was April 1st. Mine isn't til October so I will gladly accept the early greeting! lol. I wasn't able to go the cat show either. Had a crazy busy day/night yesterday, today...blogging...etc....we are having GORGEOUS weather in Michigan today (it's about time!) near 80...took a loooong walk with hubby and our dog! Purrfect!
