  5. Hi Caren . . . thanks for visiting and following my blog . . . I'm following you back . . . nice to meet you too :-)

After a lifetime of exclusively owning dogs, we are slowly taking in a neighborhood stray cat that we call Willie Wonka. The neighborhood is loaded with strays, but this is the one who came to us . . . like a little furry gift!

Have an awesome weekend . . . Gina

  6. @Mr.Puddy I am soooo happy you enjoyed this! Yep I bet you would get more treats if you could sing too!

    @Kokoro, I agree! lol

@Naila I was thinking the same thing!! lol

@Priscilla, that is a video you could make!! Eva jumping up and down at the kitties!!!! Hugs back to my Eva!

@Gattina...I agree! I love all things Christmasy even if it isn't my holiday!

  7. @Rumblepurr oh technicalities, technicalities!!! lol
Ready for this? Up until I was age 8 (I was not raised religious) my parents used to hang stockings and gave us presents on Christmas NOT Chanukah...I know, weird for Jewish kids! We never grew up with our religion!
Also...my first husband was Catholic and my non-Jewish friends used to tease me saying I decorated our home for Christmas MORE than they did! I had anything and everything!!! Bobo was alive then and he used to love the Christmas tree...(it is mentioned in my blog coming up this Tuesday)
My Dad used to take us for rides to see the lights. I think Christmas is a magical time of year, I love the lights, music, traditions...it is a beautiful holiday even if it isn't exclusively mine!
Ok so CODY doesn't know about it but Bobo did! xoxoxoxo

  8. Hi Gina it is so nice to meet you and thanks for following me as well! I will have to check out the other blogs of yours that I may not be following (yet).
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that the little kitty that you call "Willie Wonka" (too cute!!!) is wiggling his way into your heart and home...that is how cats "happen" to us...they FIND us and once you have a cat you will be hooked!!!
Doggies are wonderful too but kitties have a most incredible way of finding US!!
I am soooooo happy for you and please keep me updated or be sure to write about him on one of your blogs!!
By the way, how in the world do you manage having so many? I can barely handle ONE!

Hope I didn't just insult you AGAIN!! lol....I am probably waaaay older than you!

I love how you said your cat (Charlie) acted with the video. Last night when I was playing them Cody's eyes were like saucers and he was staring at me like "Mom what in the world are you DOING NOW????" lol

  35. The only thing that distracted my cat from the snow falling outside (a rare occourance around here) was the jingle cats singing "dreaming of a white christmas".

    That was great. Thanks!
